A method, system, and computer program product for identifying reference data values in a source data set. The method may include inputting a block of attribute values to a predefined machine learning model. The method may also include receiving an indication of a presentation layout of the block of the attribute values and an associated reference data extraction method. The method may also include determining a reading direction of the block of values. The method may also include identifying one or more inspection areas in the reading direction of the block of values. The method may also include determining sets of the one or more inspection areas that share a common presentation feature. The method may also include identifying tokens in an inspection area. The method may also include determining if the inspection area includes reference data values. The method may also include outputting the reference data values.

Identifying reference data in a source data set

Cognitive pre-loading of referenced content in electronic mail (e-mail) messages includes determining, using computer hardware, metadata for an electronic message directed to a user, detecting, using the computer hardware, a universal resource locator (URL) within a body portion of the electronic message, determining, using the computer hardware, a content type for the URL, and performing, using the computer hardware, natural language processing on the electronic message to determine an action importance corresponding to the URL. At least a portion of content specified by the URL can be pre-fetched from a data processing system based on the metadata, the content type of the URL, and the action importance. The electronic message and at least a portion of the content can be provided to a client device of the user.

A method, computer system, and computer program product for expanding phenological data resources by collecting phenological data from social media sites are provided. The embodiment may include determining one or more species of plants or animals from a plurality of data shared on social media sites. The embodiment may also include extracting phenological information related to the determined plants or animals. The embodiment may further include validating the phenological information against known or already validated information received from crowd source phenological information or a plurality of ecological and biological databases. The embodiment may further include cataloging the validated and filtered phenological information according to a list selected from a group consisting of species, locations, biological or ecological characteristics. The embodiment may also include generating reports related to the cataloged phenological information utilizing plant image analysis, object identification analysis or user satisfaction analysis.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, a computer program product, and a computer system for generating a wind map based on multimedia analysis. A computer receives a multimedia source configuration and builds a wind scale reference database. In addition, the computer extracts and processes both wind speed data and contextual data from the multimedia. Moreover, the computer analyses temporal and spatial features, as well as generates a wind map based on the extracted context, extracted wind speed, and analysed temporal and spatial features. Lastly, the wind map generator validates and modifies the wind scale reference database.

A new data license is automatically created for a new information asset derived from an existing information asset, wherein the new data license is derived from an existing data license for the existing information asset. An application is instrumented with a document protection service provider interface (SPI). The interface is used to call an external function, e.g., an encryption utility, to facilitate secure document exchange between a sending entity and a receiving entity. When the application invokes the SPI, the user is provided with a display panel. The end user provides a password for encryption key generation, together with an indication of desired encryption strength. The service provider uses the password to generate an encryption key. In one embodiment, the service provider provides the key to the service provider interface, which then uses the key to encrypt the document and to complete the file transfer operation. In the alternative, the service provider itself performs encryption. The SPI generates and sends a message to the receiving entity that includes the key or a link to enable the receiving entity to retrieve the key.

The method may include: carrying out data profiling of soft type data to generate an attribute list with mapping suggestions to a hardened database structure; generating a data model definition and extract, transform, and load logic for transforming the soft type data based on the attribute list and mapping suggestions; executing the data model definition to create a new or modified database structure; moving data from an existing database structure to the new or modified database structure; and regenerating a services interface for access to the data.

The program controls access to data objects stored on a tangible device of a computer system within an enterprise. A user request to access a data object identifies a user role by looking up the user identification in an enterprise directory. The program determines whether the role of the user is permitted access to a system and also determines a risk score representing a risk of dissemination of the requested data object. The program compares the risk score of the requested data object to a pre-configured threshold value of the requested data object and controls access to the requested data object, based on the role of the user, and the risk score associated with the risk of disseminating the requested data object.
