One or more embodiments include receiving one or more frames of a live video captured by a video capturing device, wherein the one or more frames include a current frame that is most-recently captured, identifying a set of reference frames included in the one or more frames based on at least the current frame, wherein each frame in the set of reference frames has a different exposure level relative to the current frame, determining, using one or more neural networks, a set of missing details for one or more regions of the current frame based on the set of reference frames, generating an updated version of the current frame based on the set of details, and outputting the updated version of the current frame in real-time.

Systems and methods are disclosed related to synthetic bracketing for exposure correction. A deep learning based method and system produces a set of differently exposed images from a single input image. The images in the set may be combined to produce an output image with improved global and local exposure compared with the input image. An image encoder applies learned parameters to each input image to generate a set of image features including local exposure estimates for each of two or more regions of the input image and a low resolution latent representation of the input image. A decoder receives the local exposure estimates, the latent representation, and target enhancements that are processed to generate synthesized transformations. When applied to the input image, the synthesized transformations produce the set of transformed images. Each transformed image is a version of the input image synthesized to correspond to a respective target enhancement.

Synthetic bracketing for exposure correction

A portable monitoring device for monitoring of the short term, mid term and long term risks of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and to estimate the risk of onset of positional plagiocephaly. The monitoring device acquires one or more signals associated to the typical breath and positioning patterns of an infant through a tri-axial accelerometer, and registers the data in electronic format, where statistical analysis of the signal and pattern recognition are performed in real time by a processing unit. The device monitors the breath activity of an infant in various conditions, alerting a caregiver when a potentially dangerous situation is detected. The monitoring is attached to the clothes of the infant. Statistical analysis of the registered data is performed for quantifying the long term SIDS risk, the risk of plagiocephaly and for optimizing the functional parameters of the monitoring device.

Method and device for monitoring the risks for sudden infant death syndrome and for positional plagiocephaly

A radiographic X-ray apparatus is equipped with multiple devices for the acquisition of anatomical data, in particular cameras. These devices are used to facilitate and automate the imaging process, providing: before exposure the automated identification of the specific anatomical features of the patient and the optimized presetting of the exposure technique factors and projection geometry, tailored on the actual anatomy of the patient; during exposure the optimized X-ray dose modulation, either automatically or selected by the operator, in order to correctly expose the various regions of interest, and accordingly impart reduced dose to other body parts, according to the actual anatomy of the patient and imaging requirements; after exposure the possibility to complement the radiographic image with additional information about the internal and external anatomy, providing valuable tools for the medical analysis and diagnosis.
