The invention relates to a seatbelt device () for motor vehicles comprising a belt buckle () with an insertion slot (), a belt tongue () which can be plugged into the insertion slot () of the belt buckle (), can be locked therein, and has a belt tongue main body () and a belt tongue trim panel (), and a seatbelt (), wherein the seatbelt () runs through a hoop () of the belt tongue (). The belt buckle () and the belt tongue () are configured to transmit electrical power and/or signals from the belt buckle () to the belt tongue ().

Seatbelt device

The present invention relates to an illuminated belt buckle () for a safety belt device of a motor vehicle. The illuminated belt buckle () comprises a housing (), a push-button () displaceable in the housing (), an insertion slot (), bordered by an edge section () of the housing () and the push-button (), for inserting a latch plate lockable in the belt buckle (), at least one light source () and at least one light guide (), wherein the light guide () is coupled to at least one light-emitting surface () starting from a light entry surface (). It is provided that a shielding element () is arranged on the light guide () and shields the light guide () at least from a housing part () of the housing () and/or a cavity () in the interior of the housing () in which the push-button () is arranged. The invention also relates to a method for producing such an illuminated belt buckle ().

A light source () and the at least one light emission surface () are connected via at least one optical waveguide (), and wherein a deflecting element () is arranged or formed on at least one boundary surface () of the optical waveguide () and/or on at least one boundary surface () of the light emission surface (). The deflecting element having a geometry that differs from the rest of the boundary surface ().

The light-emitting surface () having a linear contour, the shape of which matches the shaping of a laterally positioned edge side () of the push button () when viewed toward the insertion slot ().
