A bill deposit/withdrawal machine includes a deposit/withdrawal port, a bill discriminating unit, a plurality of bill accepting boxes and a bill transport path which connects the deposit/withdrawal port and the bill accepting boxes through the bill discriminating unit which transports bills. The deposit/withdrawal port and the bill discriminating unit are disposed in an upper part of the machine, and the bill accepting boxes are disposed in a lower part of the machine. The bill transport path includes an upper bill transport path provided in the upper part of the machine, and a lower bill transport path provided in the lower part of the machine. The lower bill transport path is installed along the bill accepting boxes and includes a mechanism for bidirectionally transporting bills and a switchable gate connecting with one of the bill accepting boxes.

Bill deposit/withdrawal machine for depositing/withdrawing bills

A bill deposit/withdrawal machine including a deposit/withdrawal port for delivering the bills deposited by users and discharging bills to users. The deposit/withdrawal port includes a bill hopper for accepting bills deposited by users and discharging bills to users, a delivering mechanism for delivering bills deposited by users, and a push plate operation mechanism for moving a push plate which forms an accepting unit and which supports bills. The bill hopper is movable by rotation operations with a bill delivering side as a fulcrum, and the delivering mechanism includes at least a gate controller which does not rotate in a delivering direction.

A bill deposit/withdrawal machine includes a deposit/withdrawal port mounted in a machine casing having a slot for users to deposit bills or for discharging bills, said deposit/withdrawal port delivering the bills deposited by users and discharging bills to users. The deposit/withdrawal port includes at least a delivering mechanism for delivering bills deposited by users, and a push plate operation mechanism for moving a push plate which forms an accepting unit and which supports bills. A bill hopper provided in the deposit/withdrawal port is provided with a movable structure and is disposed in a position suitable for discharging bills in the slot.

A bill deposit/withdrawal machine for performing deposit or withdrawal of bills includes a deposit/withdrawal port for performing deposit or withdrawal of bills, a bill discriminating unit for discriminating bills, a plurality of bill accepting boxes for accepting bills, a bill transport path for transporting bills, an upper bill mechanism disposed in an upper portion of the machine for forming a unit including the deposit/withdrawal port and the bill discriminating unit, and a lower bill mechanism disposed in a lower portion of the machine for forming a unit including the plurality of bill accepting boxes. The upper bill mechanism includes a reject box for accepting non-returning bills which cannot be accepted into the plurality of boxes or bills forgotten to be taken out.

A bill deposit/withdrawal machine for performing deposit or withdrawal of bills according to a transaction of a user, includes a deposit/withdrawal port for performing deposit or withdrawal of bills, a bill discriminating unit for discriminating bills, at least one bill accepting box for accepting bills transported from the deposit/withdrawal port and/or accepting bills to be transported to the deposit/withdrawal port and a bill transport path for connecting the deposit/withdrawal port and the bill accepting box to transport bills. The bill accepting box is transversely disposed to support bills in a standing position at least one of enables accepting bills transported through the bill transport path and delivering bills to be transported through the bill transport path. Bill deposit/withdrawal machine

A bill receiving and paying port and a bill discriminating unit are arranged in the upper part of the bill recycling machine, bill accommodating boxes (a reject box, recycling boxes, and a charge and collection box) are arranged in the lower part of the bill recycling machine, and each of the reject box, and the charge and collection box is horizontally provided with two bill accommodating units. In the reject box, a bill accommodation carrying path to the reject box and a bill carrying path to the charge and collection box arranged in the lower row are provided. The low bill carrying paths are arranged in the vicinity of the sidewall face on the user manipulation side and in the vicinity of the sidewall face opposite thereto, respectively, so that the bill accommodating boxes can be made detachable in the front direction as well as in the back direction.

Bill recycle machine

A bill transaction machine for transacting a bill include a port for delivering bills inputted by a user or discharging bills to a user, a bill discriminating unit for discriminating bills, and a plurality of accepting boxes for accepting bills and disposed in stacked manner in a vertical direction. Each of the accepting boxes is mounted detachably in a horizontal direction and a bill transport path is provided for transporting bills between the plurality of accepting boxes and the port while passing the bills through the bill discriminating unit. Each of the accepting boxes each take in bills under travel on the bill transport path or deliver bills to the bill transport path with the accepting boxes being disposed in the same direction as a transport direction of the transport path. The accepting boxes and the transport path are increasable or decreasable in a vertical direction.

A bill deposit/withdrawal machine for performing deposit or withdrawal of bills according to a transaction includes a deposit/withdrawal port for performing deposit or withdrawal of bills; a bill discriminating unit for discriminating bills, bill accepting boxes for accepting bills transported from the deposit/withdrawal port or accepting bills to be transported to the deposit/withdrawal port and a bill transport path for connecting the deposit/withdrawal port to the bill accepting boxes through the bill discriminating unit and transporting bills. The deposit/withdrawal port and the bill discriminating unit are disposed in an upper part of the bill deposit/withdrawal machine, and the bill accepting boxes are disposed in a lower part of the bill deposit/withdrawal machine.

A paper currency reception/delivery machine having a high degree of general-purpose utility and implemented in a simple structure of a small size at low cost and capable of handling foreign paper currencies of different sizes and other leaflets is imparted selectively with given ones of intelligent functions such as discrimination of denominations, recycling on a denomination-by-denomination basis, replenishment, collection and detailed check and the like. The paper currency reception/delivery machine includes a loop-like paper currency transport path extending in one direction by way of a paper currency checking means, a paper currency reception/delivery port, a temporary custody unit, a delivery-destined paper currency storing unit, a received paper currency storing unit, a recycling-destined paper currency storing unit, a replenishment/collection-destined paper currency storing unit and a rejection-destined paper currency storing unit. Paper currencies can be stored selectively in these units or fed out selectively from these units onto the loop-like paper currency transport path independent of one another through associated branch transport paths.

Leaflets handling apparatus

A hopper for feeding documents also serves as a stacker for stacking therein documents in a generally upright position. When the fed documents or the once-stacked documents are to be fed to a singulation mechanism, the hopper or stacker is put into a feeding mode, and when the documents are to be stacked or sorted, the hopper or stacker is switched to a stacking mode. Such hoppers or stackers are arranged in a plurality of stages, and when each sorting is to be effected, addresses are read while changing the mode of each hopper or stacker to repeat the sorting, so that the documents are sequenced by a radix sort method.

Apparatus for sorting sheets or the like

An apparatus for sorting sheets includes a sorting section having boxes, a separating section, and a printing section, the latter two of which are respectively located on both sides of the sorting section. The separating section includes a separating mechanism for downwardly feeding out sheets in a constant gap system, a recognizing mechanism for scanning character information described on each sheet, a bar code scanning unit for scanning bar code information, and a conveying path of the separating section for conveying the sheets fed out of the separating mechanism. The printing section includes a printing mechanism for printing the recognized result as bar code information on the sheets, a verifying mechanism for verifying the printed result, and a conveying path of the printing section for feeding out the sheet on which the bar code is printed, to the sorting section. In an upper space of the sorting section is located a delaying conveying path for connecting the conveying path of the separating section with the conveying path of the printing section and securing the recognizing time.

Apparatus for sorting various kinds of sheets of paper

A bank note handling apparatus of a circulating type utilizes bank notes deposited by customers as payable bank notes. The following devices are provided in the form of a loop in a conveying passage downstream from a paying-in and paying-out device for use in depositing or withdrawing bank notes by customers: bank note stacking devices for stacking circulated bank notes; a first discriminating device for discriminating bank notes; a bank note receiving device for receiving bank notes that are not to be circulated; a second discriminating device for discriminating bank notes; a device for properly arranging the obverse and reverse sides of bank notes; and a temporary receiving device for temporarily receiving bank notes to be deposited or withdrawn. Hence, the conveying passages for the paying-in and paying-out device and the respective stacking devices are shortened, reducing the processing time.
