A first battery module is arranged on a side farther than the controller in a first direction. A second battery module is arranged on a side farther than the controller in a second direction that is a direction opposite to the first direction. A first wire extends from the controller in the first direction and passes immediately above the first battery module. A second wire extends from the controller in the second direction and passes immediately above the second battery module, and has a function identical to a function of the first wire in the communications.

An abnormality detection device includes: a voltage value acquisition unit configured to acquire a voltage value of each battery cells, a state value measurement unit configured to measure a state value inside a battery pack, which is different from a temperature of each battery cell, and an abnormality determination unit configured to determine an abnormality of the battery pack. The abnormality determination unit includes: a voltage value comparison unit configured to compare the voltage value with a predetermined voltage threshold value, and a state value comparison unit configured to compare at least one of the state value and a degree of change in the state value per unit time with a predetermined state threshold value. The abnormality determination unit is configured to determine an abnormality of the battery pack based on both a voltage value comparison result and a state value comparison result.

Abnormality detection device and abnormality detection method for battery pack

A battery pack which is placed below a floor panel of a vehicle, includes a battery, a case for accommodating the battery, and a pressure release mechanism for releasing pressure inside the case. The pressure release mechanism includes a communication member which has one end and the other end and where the one end is connected to the case, and a gas discharge unit connected to the other end of the communication member and having a labyrinth structure.

A battery case of an electric vehicle includes a drain hole for discharging water in the interior to the outside and a water detection device disposed in the vicinity of the drain hole. At least part of an upper face of a case bottom wall of the battery case is inclined downward toward the drain hole. Accordingly, not only is it possible to mold the downward inclination of the upper face of the case bottom wall of the battery case easily at the time of die casting without increasing the number of components, but it is also possible to guide water that has entered the interior of the battery case smoothly toward the drain hole, detect it reliably by the water detection device, and discharge it quickly via the drain hole.

An actuator capable of preventing a malfunction of the actuator due to iron powder contained in working fluid and the abrasion of a cylinder and a piston is provided. The actuator includes a cylinder () extending in a vertical direction and having an opening (), a piston () moving inside the cylinder (), and a stroke sensor () that detects a position of the piston (). The stroke sensor () includes a member to be detected () which is a magnet, and a sensor () which detects the member to be detected (). The member to be detected () is located below a lower edge portion () of the opening ().

Actuator and fluid pressure control circuit having the same

An actuator having sufficiently high detection accuracy while having a simple configuration is provided. An actuator includes a cylinder (), a piston () that moves inside the cylinder (), a stroke sensor () that detects a position of the piston (), an edge portion () that restricts rotation to one side, and a restriction protrusion () that restricts rotation to the other side. The amount of rotation allowed by the edge portion () is larger than the amount of rotation allowed by the restriction protrusion (). A center of a sensor () of the stroke sensor () is shifted to one side from a center of a member to be detected () fixed to the piston ().

A method of setting an actuator capable of accurately detecting a position of a piston using a plurality of sensor units is provided. The method includes a detection value acquisition step of moving a piston in a direction of an axis inside a cylinder and acquiring a detection value from each of a first sensor unit and a second sensor unit for each position of the piston, and a controlling sensor unit-setting step of setting a controlling sensor unit that is used for control of a two-way piston from among the first sensor unit and the second sensor unit on the basis of the detection values obtained for the first sensor unit and the second sensor unit.

Method of setting actuator and fluid pressure control circuit

A hydraulic accumulator includes a limiting portion that is fitted into a ring end gap of a snap ring to limit a decrease in a diameter of the snap ring. The snap ring is stamped from a metal sheet by a press machine. Therefore, one of two opposed surfaces of a portion of the snap ring, which is fitted into a groove, forms a sloped surface as a result of shear droop. The limiting portion is fitted into the ring end gap of the snap ring to limit the decrease in the diameter of the snap ring. Thus, it is possible to limit riding of the sloped surface of the snap ring on a corner of the groove, and thereby it is possible to limit removal of the snap ring from the groove.

Hydraulic accumulator and manufacturing method thereof

A rotary-member lubricating structure includes a housing, a baffle portion, a support portion, and a bolt. The baffle portion has a shape conforming to a shape of a rotary member included in a speed-changing mechanism and covers the rotary member to collect or discharge scattered lubricating oil. The baffle portion includes a first partial baffle portion provided on a first side of the rotary member and a second partial baffle portion provided on a second side of the rotary member. The first partial baffle portion has a protrusion protruding radially outward from an outer circumference of the baffle portion and a fastening hole provided in the protrusion and extending through the first partial baffle portion in an axial direction of the rotary member. The second partial baffle portion has a filling portion to fill a recess in the first partial baffle portion provided due to the protrusion.
