There is provided head system including: head and channel member. The head includes four manifolds each having: common channel extending in first direction and inlet connected to the common channel. The four manifolds include first to fourth manifolds. The channel member includes: first member having supply port, and second member. The channel member is formed with first to fourth supply channels extending between the supply port and the inlet of the first to fourth manifolds, respectively. In two of the four manifolds, the inlet is connected to end on first side of the common channel, and in remaining two of the four manifolds, the inlet is connected to end on second side of the common channel. Each of the third and fourth supply channels is formed in both the first and second members.

Head system

The head system includes: a plurality of heads disposed staggered along a first direction; a sub-tank disposed above the heads and configured to distribute a liquid to each of the heads; a plurality of liquid channels; a chiller configured to cool the heads, including a manifold disposed between the heads and the sub-tank in an up-down direction; and a casing having a pair of inner surfaces opposed to each other in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction and the up-down direction. Each of the liquid channels extends linearly parallel to the up-down direction in an entire region between the sub-tank and one of the heads. Each of the plurality of liquid channels and the manifold are aligned in the second direction between the pair of inner surfaces of the casing.

Head system, liquid discharging device, printing device, and method for supplying liquid

There is provided a head system including: a head; a first supply channel; and a first discharge channel. The head has two groups each including a manifold which extends in a first direction and a plurality of pressure chambers each connected to the manifold and a nozzle. The two groups include a first group and a second group arranged in a second direction intersecting the first direction. The first supply channel is connected to the one end of the manifold included in the first group, and is connected to the opposite end of the manifold included the second group. The first discharge channel is connected to the opposite end of the manifold included in the first group and is connected to the one end of the manifold included in the second group.

Head system, liquid supply system, printing apparatus, and liquid flow method

There is provided a head system including a head; a supply channel; and a discharge channel. The head has four groups each including a manifold extending in a first direction. The four groups include a first to fourth groups arranged in a second direction intersecting the first direction. The supply channel is connected to the one end of the manifold included in each of two groups and is connected to the opposite end of the manifold included in each of remaining two groups, the two groups constituting a group A and the remaining two groups constituting a group B. The discharge channel is connected to the opposite end of the manifold included in each of the two groups constituting the group A and is connected to the one end of the manifold included in each of the two groups constituting the group B.

A liquid discharge apparatus is provided including: a plurality of heads; and a maintenance unit movable in a first direction between a first position at which the maintenance unit faces the plurality of heads and a second position at which the maintenance unit does not face the plurality of heads, and configured to perform maintenance for the plurality of heads. The maintenance unit has a plurality of suction units corresponding to the plurality of heads, respectively, and a base unit to which the plurality of suction units are attached. The plurality of suction units includes a movable suction unit attached to the base unit so that, in a case that the maintenance unit is arranged at the first position, the movable suction unit is movable in a second direction, which crosses the first direction and which is a direction approaching closely to or separating away from the plurality of heads.
