A system and method for generating an activity graph for cybersecurity threat detection is presented. The method includes detecting an activity in a computing environment, the activity including a plurality of event records; detecting a plurality of components in the plurality of event records; detecting in a security graph a plurality of representations, each representation corresponding to a component, wherein the security graph further includes a representation of the computing environment; and generating a visualization based on the plurality of event records and the plurality of representations.

Activity graph for automated investigation

A method and system for control plane containment of cybersecurity threat is presented. The method includes generating at least a detection rule for application by a sensor configured to detect events; configuring the sensor to deploy on a resource in a cloud computing environment, and deploying the sensor on the resource, wherein the sensor is configured to: apply the at least a detection rule on a detected event; detect an event which triggers the at least a detection rule, the event corresponding to a process running on the resource; and halt execution of the process.

Techniques for control plane level containment

A system and method for detection of cybersecurity threats for cloud entity groups is presented. The method includes detecting a cloud entity in a cloud computing environment, the cloud entity associated with a plurality of cloud components; grouping, based on the cloud entity, a plurality of detected events respective of the cloud components; detecting a cybersecurity risk from the grouped detected events based on: a cybersecurity threat detected in a first event of the grouped detected events and a state of the cloud entity, wherein the state is determined from an enriched event record; and executing at least a mitigation action in the cloud computing environment based on the cybersecurity risk.
