A computer system and computer implemented method of detecting attacks on physical systems are disclosed. The system may include one or more databases and one or more controller configured to execute instructions. The instructions may include the following method steps: receiving at least one signal related to a monitored physical system; de-noising the at least one signal to extract a smooth portion of the signal; detecting one or more states of the monitored physical system by analyzing the smooth portion of the signal; obtaining a noise portion of the signal by subtracting the de-noised smooth portion from the at least one signal; classifying the noise portion; determining expected states of the system based on the classified noise portion; comparing the expected states to the detected one or more states; and detecting an attack on the monitored physical system based on the comparison.

Method and system for detecting attacks on monitored physical systems

A Nuclear magnetic Resonance (NMR)-based system for measuring physical properties of a fluid, the system comprising an NMR spectrometer, configured to allow subjection of the fluid to radio frequency (RF) signals within a generated magnetic field, measurement of RF signals remitted by the fluid, and production of an NMR image of the fluid, a conduit, with a at least one segment of non-circular cross-section for accommodation of the flow of the fluid, and a flow-inducing mechanism, configured to allow generation of the flow of the fluid within the conduit, wherein the computer processor is configured to allow analytic processing of data related to the physical properties of the fluid under conditions of laminar and mixed laminar-turbulent flow through the conduit of non-circular cross-section so as to allow measurement of shear stress and shear rate of the fluid.

System and method for NMR imaging of fluids in non-circular cross-sectional conduits

A device for positioning at least one cell in at least one addressable position, the device comprising a substrate formed with at least one addressable pore and at least one channel embedded in the substrate and being in fluid communication with the at least one pore. The at least one pore and the at least one channel are designed and constructed such that an under-pressure formed in the at least one channel results in vacuum adherence of the at least one cell onto the at least one pore, such that a single cell is vacuum adhered onto a single pore. In one embodiment, the substrate is a non-conductive substrate and is further formed with one or more electrode structures, where each of the electrode structures is positioned in one of the pores. In an additional embodiment the device is designed locatable onto an organ, such as a brain.
