Provided is a vehicle control device comprising a plurality of constant voltage generation circuits, wherein a specified voltage is supplied to a load even if any one of the constant voltage generation circuits outputs a voltage that exceeds the specified voltage. This vehicle control device is provided with a first and second constant voltage generation circuit that each output a voltage to a load, and when either the first or second constant voltage generation circuit outputs a voltage that exceeds a reference voltage, cuts off the output of that constant voltage generation circuit from the load.

Electrohydraulic control module

A current-controlled semiconductor device is provided which corrects fluctuations of both gain and offset of a current detection circuit to thereby enable high-accuracy current detection within a single-chip IC. The current-controlled semiconductor device is provided on the same semiconductor chip with a MOSFET, two constant current sources, and a current detection circuit which detects a current of the MOSFET and currents of the constant current sources. Further, the constant current sources are equipped with an external connecting terminal for measuring their current values. A correction measured-value holding register holds therein the current values of the constant current sources, which have been measured from outside.

Program data stored in the recording medium of a general control apparatus coupled to a network is stored in the recording medium of a control apparatus as a rewritten subject of program data in the following manner. First, program data stored in a recording medium contained within the general control apparatus is sent via the network of a vehicle to the recording medium of a second control apparatus as the rewritten subject of program data (see a path L). In this case, the program datastored in the recording medium contained in the general control apparatus for generally controlling the control apparatuses is sent to the network of the vehicle when it is determined to be optimum by the CPUof the general control apparatus. The program data sent to the network of the vehicle is sent via the network of the vehicle to the second control apparatus as the rewritten subject of program data. Then, the second control apparatus as the rewritten subject of program data stores the program data sent via the network of the vehicle into the recording medium.

Program rewriting system and program rewriting method

Program data stored in the recording medium of a general control apparatus coupled to a network is stored in the recording medium of a control apparatus as a rewritten subject of program data in the following manner. A control unit stops the supply of constant voltage into a vehicle electronic control unit in an abnormal state even though the ignition is off. A delay circuit for delaying an ignition OFF signal is installed outside the central processing unit. By controlling the power source to OFF by an output signal of the delay circuit or by the delay circuit for delaying by a longer time than that of a shut-off signal from the CPU due to the ignition OFF signal, and by the AND circuit of the output signal of the delay circuit and the shut-off signal from the CPU, and by an output signal of the AND circuit which is changed from high to low, the power supply from the power source IC is stopped.

Control system

A control apparatus can monitor the internal temperature and ambient temperature of the control apparatus and save the appropriate information in the memory media of the control apparatus if the difference between the internal and external temperature exceeds the required temperature range. Even if the temperature gradient is too steep, the required information can be saved in the memory media of the control apparatus.
