An endoscope system capable of easily measuring a size of a subject is provided. In the endoscope system, since an index figure indicating an actual size of a specific region of a test object is displayed together with an image of the subject, a user can measure the specific region easily by comparing the specific region with a marker. Since the size of the index figure is set in accordance with a spot position, there is no need for distance measurement, a device configuration is simple, and measurement can be quickly and easily performed. In addition, a specific value of the 'actual size' can be set in accordance with conditions, such as the type of test object and the purposes of measurement. Additionally, an affected region can be the specific region in a case where the test object is a living body.

A measurement support device including a head configured to emit measurement auxiliary light, an imaging unit to capture an image of a subject on which a spot is formed by the measurement auxiliary light via an imaging optical system, a measurement unit to measure a position of the spot in the image, and a display control unit to display an indicator figure, and information indicating a trajectory along which the spot moves on the image when an imaging distance of the image is changed, wherein, in a case where an optical axis of the measurement auxiliary light is projected on a plane including an optical axis of the imaging optical system, the head emits the measurement auxiliary light that has an inclination angle, which is not 0 degrees with respect to the optical axis of the imaging optical system, and crosses an angle of view of the imaging optical system.

Measurement support device, endoscope system, and processor measuring size of subject using measurement auxiliary light

An endoscope includes an image pick-up-device at a distal-end-part of an insertion-part. The image pick-up-device includes a lens barrel holding an imaging lens; an image-sensor having a rectangular shape as an outer peripheral shape of an image reception surface on which imaging light incident via the imaging lens; and a sensor holder holding the image-sensor in a state where the image reception surface intersects a longitudinal direction of the insertion-part. The sensor holder has three independent wall-parts respectively covering three side surfaces of the image-sensor, and on an XY plane orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the insertion-part, a gap length, in an X-axis direction on the plane between adjacent wall-parts of the three wall-parts and a gap length, in Y-axis direction, between the adjacent wall-parts are equal to each other. Additionally, the height of each of the three wall-parts is 1.5 times to 3 times the gap length.

Endoscope with holding member having multiple independent wall parts

An endoscope system includes a measurement support device and an endoscope. The measurement support device includes a head emitting measurement auxiliary light, an imaging unit capturing an image of a subject on which a spot is formed by the measurement auxiliary light via an imaging optical system, and a processor measuring a position of the spot and displaying an indicator figure. The endoscope includes a memory, an insertion part and an operating part. In a case where the measurement auxiliary light is projected on a plane including an optical axis of the imaging optical system, the measurement auxiliary light has an inclination angle and crosses an angle of view of the imaging optical system. In a case where the indicator figure is displayed in a vicinity of the measured position, the indicator figure is displayed in different aspects according to measurement of the specific region is effective or not.

A clip treatment tool includes a clip body that has two clip-pieces, the two clip-pieces each having a body-portion and an arm-portion, the body-portion having a fixing-hole formed on a proximal end side and a movement hole formed on a distal end side relative to the fixing-hole, the movement hole extending so as to be inclined from a side part in a width direction of the body-portion on the proximal end side toward a middle in the width direction of the body-portion on the distal end side; a container tube that contains the body-portions of the two clip-pieces therein; a stopper that extends through the fixing-holes of the two clip-pieces and that is attached to the clip body; and a fixing pin that extends through the movement holes of the two clip-pieces and whose both end portions are fixed to positions in the container tube that face each other.

An endoscope includes an image pick-up device at a distal end part of an insertion part capable of being inserted into a body cavity. The image pick-up device includes a lens barrel that holds an imaging lens; an image sensor having a rectangular shape as an outer peripheral shape of the image reception surface on which imaging light incident via the imaging lens; and a sensor holder that holds the image sensor in a state where the image reception surface intersects a longitudinal direction of the insertion part. The sensor holder has a fitting part fitted to the lens barrel, and an extending wall part that extends in the longitudinal direction of the insertion part from the fitting part to cover at least a portion of the outer peripheral surface of the image sensor, and the fitting part and the extending wall part are integrally configured.

Endoscope

An endoscope device includes a signal processing unit that processes a captured image signal, which is obtained by imaging a subject through an imaging optical system including an objective lens of an endoscope, to generates captured image, an auxiliary measurement light emitting unit that emits planar auxiliary measurement light from the distal end part, a display control unit that causes a display unit to display the captured image including an intersection line formed in a portion where a plane formed by the auxiliary measurement light intersects the subject. The auxiliary measurement light emitting unit emits the auxiliary measurement light in a state where the plane and an optical axis intersects each light at one specific point on the optical axis of the objective lens. A distance from a distal end part of the objective lens of the one specific point is 5 mm or more and 20 mm or less.

Endoscope device and measurement support method

In a clip treatment tool, a clip locking part brings arms into a closed state after the arms are brought into a closed state in a state where distal ends of the arms of the clip brought into an open state is pressed against a treatment part and the treatment part is ligated to the distal ends of the arms brought into the closed state. After the clip in which the arms are locked to the closed state is separated from the sheath part and indwelled in the treatment part, the clip removal part is indwelled in the treatment part, the locking of the arms locked to the closed state is released, the arms are brought into the open state as the locking is released, and the clip removed from the treatment part is maintained and taken out.

A clip treatment tool includes a clip body that has two arm portions and a folded portion, the folded portion connecting proximal end parts of the two arm portions; a pressing tube that allows the clip body to be contained therein in accordance with movement of the clip body from a distal end side toward a proximal end side; a coupling member that couples the clip body and an operation wire to each other; and an urging member that urges the coupling member relative to the pressing tube from the proximal end side toward the distal end side. The pressing tube has a latched portion, and the coupling member has a latch portion. In accordance with movement of the operation wire from the distal end side toward the proximal end side, the latch portion is latched to the latched portion, and the coupling member is locked to the pressing tube.

A clip treatment tool includes: a clip body that has two arm portions and a folded portion, the two arm portions, the folded portion connecting proximal end parts of the two arm portions; a tightening ring that functions to close the two arm portions in accordance with movement of the clip body from a distal end side toward a proximal end side; a pressing tube that has at least one opening formed in an outer surface thereof, and that allows the clip body to be contained therein in accordance with the movement of the clip body; and a coupling member that has a distal end part to which the folded portion is removably connected and a proximal end part to which a distal end part of an operation wire is fixed, the coupling member coupling the clip body and the operation wire to each other.

An endoscope system includes: an endoscope including a side-viewing observation unit that includes a field of view in a lateral direction of an insertion part to be inserted into an object to be observed and a second protruding portion that protrudes from the insertion part and forms a blind spot in the field of view of the side-viewing observation unit; an image acquisition unit that acquires a side-viewing observation image by using the side-viewing observation unit; a monitor that displays the side-viewing observation image; and a display control section that allows at least a part of the blind spot of the side-viewing observation image in which the second protruding portion is shown up not to be displayed, and displays the side-viewing observation image on the monitor.

Endoscope system and method of driving endoscope system

An endoscope includes in a tip portion of an insertion unit: an image sensor having plural terminals including a video terminal which outputs a video signal; and a tip potion of a treatment tool channel which extends in a longitudinal direction of the insertion unit, and a distance of the video terminal is longest among distances of the respective terminals from a center of the treatment tool channel in a plane that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.

In the case where a value of the aspect ratio of the display area of an image display device is larger than a value of the aspect ratio of a captured image indicated by an imaging signal, image processing for making the magnification of an image of a peripheral portion outside a central portion of the captured image larger than the magnification of an image of the central portion so as to match the aspect ratio of the display area of the image display device is performed. Accordingly, the magnification of the image of the peripheral portion of the captured image is increased by using the display area that is elongated in the horizontal direction, without degrading the visibility of the image of the central portion of the captured image. As a result, it is possible to improve the visibility of the image of the peripheral portion.

Image processing apparatus for electronic endoscope, electronic endoscope system, and image processing method for electronic endoscope

In an image-obtainment-apparatus that obtains an image of an observation-region by imaging, by an imaging-device, light output from the observation-region illuminated with illumination-light, when the light-amount of the illumination-light illuminated the observation-region is less than or equal to first-threshold-value, the electronic-shutter-speed is controlled at first-constant-speed, and the light-amount of the illumination-light is controlled based on the light-amount of the illumination-light illuminated the observation-region. When the light-amount of the illumination-light illuminated the observation-region is greater than first-threshold-value and less than or equal to second-threshold-value, the electronic-shutter-speed is controlled at a speed based on the light-amount of the illumination-light illuminated the observation-region, and the light-amount of the illumination-light is controlled at a predetermined constant light-amount. When the light-amount of the illumination-light illuminated the observation-region is greater than second-threshold-value, the electronic-shutter-speed is controlled at second-constant-speed, and the light-amount of the illumination-light is controlled based on the light-amount of the illumination-light illuminated the observation-region.
