According to an example, a photoconductive drum support comprises a receiving body to receive a photoconductive drum, a rear cup coupled to a first end of the receiving body, a locking member rotatably coupled to a projecting portion of the receiving body, and a front cup positioned to contact a second end of the receiving body. The locking member is movable between an unlocked position in which the front cup is movable along the projecting portion and a locked position in which the locking member is positioned to fix the front cup and the rear cup at a predetermined distance.

Photoconductive drum supports

A printing drum mounting system and method of assembling the mounting system. The mounting system comprising a rotatable shaft; a first mount and a second mount arrangeable on the shaft to clamp a printing drum therebetween, wherein the first mount comprises a first engaging surface to form a mating contact with a corresponding first end surface of the printing drum and the second mount comprises a second engaging surface to form a mating contact with a corresponding end surface of the printing drum; a double-walled flexure to flexibly mount the first engaging surface and the shaft, the flexure to provide the first engaging surface with a single degree of freedom of axial movement relative to the shaft and to maintain mating contact between the first engaging surface and the first end surface of the printing drum as the printing drum thermally expands and contracts; and a releasable fixing to align and rigidly engage the second engaging surface relative to the shaft.

Printing drum mounting system

According to aspects of the present disclosure there are provided methods and apparatus for providing selective control of a lateral position of a transfer blanket, the method comprising providing a crowned pulley rotating about an axis of a shaft, supporting a transfer blanket on the crowned pulley, the crowned pulley providing a self-tracking effect on a lateral position of the transfer blanket, and selectively controlling a lateral position of the crowned pulley along the axis of the shaft.

Adjusting a lateral position of a transfer blanket

Offset print apparatus comprises a blanket arranged in a closed loop around a plurality of rollers. Each of the plurality of rollers is rotatable about a respective roller axis to support and convey the blanket around the closed loop. The plurality of rollers comprises: a primary steering roller rotatable about a primary roller axis and being pivotable about a primary steering axis perpendicular to the primary roller axis; and a secondary steering roller rotatable about a secondary roller axis and being pivotable about a secondary steering axis perpendicular to the secondary roller axis. The primary and secondary steering rollers are each independently pivotable. The offset print apparatus further comprises an actuator to actuate pivoting of the primary steering roller and the secondary steering roller.

Offset print apparatus and methods

An air bearing assembly is disclosed. The air bearing assembly may comprise a print component to interact with an imaging plate, the imaging plate being rotatable relative to the print component. The air bearing assembly may comprise an air bearing pad positioned adjacent to a surface of the imaging plate, the air bearing pad to generate a cushion of air to maintain a defined distance between the print component and the imaging plate. A method and a print apparatus are also disclosed.

Air bearings

A support assembly is disclosed. The support assembly may comprise a component to interact with a photoconductive imaging unit, the component being rotatable relative to the photoconductive imaging unit. The support assembly may comprise an air bearing positioned adjacent to a surface of the photoconductive imaging unit, the air bearing to generate a cushion of gas to support the component at a defined distance from the photoconductive imaging unit. A method and a print apparatus are also disclosed.
