Modeling multi-dimensional sequence data over streams

A method of processing a stream of raw data from a plurality of distributed data producing devices includes reducing the raw data to a plurality of representative synopsis coefficients, organizing the synopsis coefficients into a data structure with at least three dimensions, including a time window dimension and an accuracy dimension. Responsive to a detected anomaly in the data structure, at least one of a predetermined autonomous action and an action directed by a user is performed.

Data stream processing

Methods, systems, and a computer readable medium storing a computer executable program for managing a data mining model are disclosed. A first notification associated with a data mining model is received at a business process system. A second notification associated with the data mining model is transmitted from the business process system responsive to the first notification. A determination is made regarding whether a first response operable to define an association between the data mining model and business data has been received at the business process system responsive to the second notification. A command is issued from the business process system to update model metadata associated with the data mining model based on the determination.

Method for managing data storage

Methods and systems for providing an alternative caching scheme at the storage area network level are disclosed. In one embodiment, it is determined that the number of accesses to a portion of data associated with a storage device exceeds a threshold that is greater than one access. A copy of the portion of data is associated with a caching resource that provides auxiliary caching for the storage device. The auxiliary caching resource is at the storage area network level. The copy of the portion of data is accessed instead of the portion of data for subsequent accesses.

Providing an alternative caching scheme at the storage area network level

Apparatus, systems, and methods for enabling a user to access internal storage in the computing device when the computing device is inactive are disclosed. The computing devices include a primary bus and a secondary bus to access an internal storage device in the computing device, and a bus switch capable of detecting if the computing device is inactive connected to the primary bus and the secondary bus. When the computing device becomes inactive (e.g., is malfunctioning, lacks sufficient power, and is switched off), the bus switch switches access to the internal storage device from being via the primary bus to being via the secondary bus. As such, an external computing device is capable of accessing data in the computing device relatively easily when the computing device is inactive.
