A motor housing for an electric motor has a generally cylindrical housing shell (), which, at one end (), accommodates a first bearing and a housing cover module () such that the housing cover module () closes an opposing, open end of the housing shell (), and serves as a second bearing. The cover module () is preferably of metal material and is integrally formed with a plurality of projecting tab and/or arm portions (). Around the housing shell (), several recesses or slots () are formed, flanked by deformable elements (). By axially applying a tool (), the deformable elements are deformed to secure the tabs () within the slots () and to thereby connect the shell () and the cover module () axially together. The resulting structure is highly resistant to vibrational decoupling, and can readily be obtained by high-speed automated production steps.

Motor housing

An electric motor has a rotor () and a stator () equipped with salient poles on each of which is provided a winding (to), which windings together form a winding arrangement ('), electrical connecting leads (&#x2032; to&#x2032;) being provided between at least some of the windings. The stator () further has electrical connecting elements (to) that are arranged on at least one insulating carrier () and are equipped with contact elements (&#x2033; to&#x2033;) and with mounting elements (&#x2033;&#x2033; to&#x2033;&#x2033;), which latter serve for electrical and mechanical connection to the connecting leads (&#x2032; to&#x2032;). The use of a printed circuit board () formed with press-fit seats, to receive the contact elements, facilitates rapid, secure and automated connection of stator windings to other circuit parts, which is particularly useful in making low-voltage, high-current motors such as those used in mining.

An electric motor has a rotor () rotatable around a rotation axis () and has a stator () arranged around said rotor (), which stator is equipped with poles (to). Each pole has an individual winding (to), and the latter together form a winding arrangement () that serves to generate a rotating field. Arranged approximately concentrically with the rotation axis () is an arrangement having electrical connection elements (U, V, W, U', V&#x2032;, W&#x2032;). The latter are equipped with mounting elements (VW, U&#x2032;, V&#x2032;) to each of which an associated end of an individual winding is mechanically and electrically connected. A connection arrangement () has a plurality of conductors () each of which is connected, by means of a welded connection (), to the connection elements of the stator in order to electrically interconnect them in a predetermined fashion.

Electric motor

The invention relates to a hair clipping machine with a device for adjusting the length of a cut, with the adjusting device acting upon the clipping assembly. The clipping assembly includes at least a fixed clipping comb and a clipping blade which can be driven in an oscillatory motion essentially parallel to the front edge of the clipping comb. The adjusting device includes of at least an actuating element which is connected to the clipping blade via coupling elements for displacing the clipping blade lengthwise. The adjusting device is an integral part of the clipping assembly and may therefore be configured independently of the housing. As a result, construction is simplified and it is also possible to retrofit clipping machines which do not have such adjustment devices.
