A heat exchanger assembly includes a housing having at least one area of heat flux and a fluid circuit arranged within an interior of the housing. The fluid circuit having an inlet manifold, an outlet manifold, and at least one fluid passage connecting the inlet manifold and the outlet manifold. The at least one fluid passage is positioned relative to the housing to perform localized cooling of the housing at the at least one area of heat flux. A cooling medium circulates through the fluid circuit.

A method for identifying an electric motor includes applying a first predefined current having a first frequency to a terminal of the electric motor. The method further includes calculating a first inductance value of the electric motor at the first frequency. The method includes applying a second predefined d-axis current having a second frequency to the terminal of the electric motor. The method also includes calculating a second inductance value of the electric motor at the second frequency. Further, the method includes obtaining a first deviation value and the second deviation value based on a comparison with a first reference value and a second reference value respectively. Finally, the method includes identifying the electric motor as one of an intended motor or a non-intended motor based on a comparison of each of the first deviation value and the second deviation value with a predefined threshold value.

A converter for an air conditioning system includes a rectifier section configured to receive a multiphase, AC input voltage; a voltage regulator section coupled to the rectifier section, the voltage regulator section configured to control a DC output voltage across a positive DC bus and a negative DC bus; and a controller in communication with the rectifier section and the voltage regulator section, the controller configured to control the converter in a first mode or a second mode in response to a transient detected in the converter.

The tubular member includes a plurality of internal surface enhancements. An interference fit is defined between the tubular members and the heat exchanger body via one or more of mechanical or thermal expansion to define a plurality of fluid pathways in the heat exchanger. One or more power electronics devices are installed to the heat exchanger body.

Embodiments include a power supply and a boost converter circuit coupled to the power supply, wherein the boost converter circuit is operable to provide power to the load. Embodiments also include a 3-phase inverter coupled to the boost converter, wherein the 3-phase-inverter is operable to provide a 3-phase output, and a controller coupled to the boost converter and the 3-phase inverter. The controller can be configured to receive a voltage level of a power supply and a voltage level of a 3-phase inverter; compare a power threshold to at least one of: the voltage level of the power supply and the voltage level of the 3-phase inverter; and control an operation of the boost converter circuit to operate in a boost mode or a rectification mode based at least in part on the comparison.
