A power source system includes a first power source, a second power source, a Direct Current to Direct Current converter, a first load including a vehicle control device configured to perform predetermined control regarding at least one of traveling, steering, and braking of the vehicle regardless of a driving operation performed by a driver of the vehicle, and an electric actuator as a control target of the vehicle control device, and connected to the first path so as to be supplied with power from the first power source, and a power source control device configured to control an operation of the Direct Current to Direct Current converter such that power is supplied to the first path from the second power source in a case where the predetermined control is performed.

Power source system

A power source system includes: a main-power source; a first load connected in parallel to the main-power source; a second load connected in parallel to the main-power source, the second load being higher in an actuation priority than the first load; a sub-power source connected in parallel to the first load and the second load; a first detection unit configured to detect output electric power of the main-power source; and a control unit configured to supply electric power from the sub-power source more to the second load than to the first load, when the output electric power of the main-power source is less than required electric power of the second load.

Power supply system

An electrical junction box has a fitting member for securing the junction box to a vehicle body. The fitting member has a breakdown accelerating portion for enhancing breakdown of the fitting member when the junction box is pulled to remove it from the vehicle body. The breakdown accelerating portion is positioned in a base side of the fitting piece. By a transverse force caused by pulling an associated wiring harness, the breakdown accelerating portion initiates breakdown of a bracket to separate the junction box from the bracket. Another fitting device has a fitting member formed on a junction box for securing the junction box to a vehicle body. The fitting member has a slot for enhancing breakdown of the fitting member when the junction box is pulled to remove the junction box from the vehicle body, and the fitting member has a compensating piece removably inserted into the slot for adjusting the breakdown of the fitting member.

Electrical junction box fitting device

An electrical equipment disassembly structure includes: a housing which houses an electric component therein and whose surface is provided with a recess in which a female connector is located which holds a plurality of connecting terminals electrically connected to the electric component; and a wiring harness which is fixed to the housing in such a way that a male connector attached to a distal end of the wiring harness is connected to the female connector, the wiring harness being separated from the housing by being pulled in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the male and female connectors are connected to each other, wherein the recess of the housing is provided with a breakable portion which facilitates a breakage of the female connector in the direction of pulling the wiring harness.

Electrical equipment disassembly structure

A metal terminal has a terminal body having a crimp part crimped to a wire and a fastening part connected to the terminal body through breaking parts. The fastening part has a through-hole for passage of a bolt. The metal terminal further includes a co-fastening part formed in the terminal body. The tip side of the co-fastening part is fastened to a vehicle body by the bolt, together with the fastening part. When detaching the terminal body from the vehicle body, one side of the one terminal body is pulled up in a direction opposite to the fastening direction of the bolt under condition that the fastening part and the co-fastening part are together fastened by the bolt. Consequently, the co-fastening part is released from its fastened condition and a breaking force is applied on the breaking parts.

Metal terminal with weakened part

A connection portion () of an FFC () to be preliminarily arranged on a roof trim () is weld-fixed to cable connecting portions () of a bus bar () and a spring terminal () of a room lamp (). Simultaneously with the arrangement of the FFC () on a vehicle-body-panel-side portion of the roof trim, the room lamp () is mounted in the lamp mounting window.

Lamp unit assembling method and lamp unit mounting structure

A connector is provided with a connector housing including one or more terminal housing chambers each including a first open end and a second open end; and one or more terminals each comprising a contact portion at a distal end thereof for contacting the opposite terminal and a solder tail extended from a proximal end thereof. The terminals are respectively housed in the terminal housing chambers with setting the distal ends thereof directed to the first open ends. Each terminal has a length so that the proximal end thereof reaches the same level as or protrudes from the second open end when the terminal is completely housed in the respective terminal housing chamber.

Connector for printed circuit board

In a bracket connecting structure, hooks ( ) are respectively provided on one end side and another end side of a surface of a base plate ( ) of a panel-side bracket ( ), the hooks are engaged with opposing peripheral edge portions of an opening ( ) formed in a trim ( ), so as to fix the panel-side bracket ( ) to the trim, and a thin-walled portion ( ) which traverses an intermediate portion of the base plate between the hook on the one end side and the hook on the other end side is provided in the base plate. Thus the base plate is made deflectable at that portion. The thin-walled portion ( ) is formed by forming a U-shaped groove ( ) of the base plate, and the U-shaped groove is used as a groove for passing a flat cable ( ) through the groove.

Bracket connecting structure

An electric connection box includes a cover fitted on a lower side of a body having mounting portions, and the cover is fixedly secured to a vehicle body. A wire harness is extended outwardly from a portion of the body, disposed near to one corner portion thereof, through an escape groove. Plural lock mechanisms, in which a lock piece portion can be elastically fitted into a lock groove, are provided at fitting peripheral surfaces of the body and cover, and are disposed near to four corner portions thereof respectively. One lock mechanism, disposed near to a position where the wire harness is extended outwardly, has a semi-lock structure, and thus has a smaller retaining force than the other lock mechanisms.

Electric connection box

An overcurrent interrupting device includes a power MOSFET ( ) for controlling an electric current flowing from a power supply to a load; a current detection circuit ( ) for detecting a current value of an electric current flowing from the power MOSFET ( ) to a load (L); a determination value selection circuit ( ) for selecting a determination value used for determining an overcurrent; an overcurrent determination circuit ( ) for determining whether or not the current value represents occurrence of an overcurrent, on the basis of the current value detected by the current detection circuit ( ) and the determination value selected by the determination value selection circuit ( ); and a boosting and switching circuit ( ) for controlling activation/deactivation of the power MOSFET ( ) on the basis of a result of determination rendered by the overcurrent determination circuit ( ).

Overcurrent interrupting device

A connection portion ( ) of an FFC ( ) to be preliminarily arranged on a roof trim ( ) is weld-fixed to cable connecting portions ( ) of a bus bar ( ) and a spring terminal ( ) of a room lamp ( ). Simultaneously with the arrangement of the FFC ( ) on a vehicle-body-panel-side portion of the roof trim, the room lamp ( ) is mounted in the lamp mounting window.

A first bracket has a first connector and a plurality of engagement members. The engagement members guide engagement protrusions mentioned later inside to engage with them. A second bracket has a second connector and a plurality of engagement protrusions to be fitted into the engagement members and having a height greater than that of the second connector. The second bracket supports an auxiliary component. During interconnection of the brackets, the engagement protrusions are inserted into the engagement members before the connectors are fitted to one another. The guiding and engagement of the engagement protrusions into and with the engagement members lead to fitting of the connectors to one another and interconnection of the brackets, resulting in the auxiliary component fixed to the first bracket.
