[Problem] A drive recorder is provided that enables acquisition of a desired image captured when an impact with a strength meeting a predetermined condition has been measured. [Means of Solution] In the drive recorder, the travel recording modulerecords captured moving-imagery datacaptured by a camerainstalled on a vehicle. The acceleration sensormeasures the acceleration of the vehicle. When it is determined that the acceleration measured by the acceleration sensoris within an abnormality range, the travel recording modulenotifies the serverat a predetermined time point of the time point of dangerous driving at which the acceleration within the abnormality range was measured. The travel recording module, when receiving from the servera request for video transmission containing the time point of dangerous driving, selects, from the recorded captured moving-imagery data, the captured moving-imagery dataassociated with a predetermined time period including the time point of dangerous driving contained in the request for video transmission, and transmits this data to the server.

A twin head for use in an electronic still camera includes a shield plate, first and second head chips bonded on opposite sides of the shield plate, and first and second reinforcing core members further bonded on first and second head chips, respectively. Each of the first and second head chip members has an elongated face that faces a recording medium and a magnetic gap defined at an intermediate portion of the elongated face. The length Wh of the elongated face is between 0.3 millimeter and 1 millimeter. Each of the first and second reinforcing core members has a coil wound thereon. The first and second head chip members, the shield plate, and the first and second reinforcing core members are bonded together such that the elongated faces of the first and second head chip members are in flush with each other and that the magnetic gaps of the first and second head chip members are aligned to each other.

Twin head for electronic still camera and a method for making the same

A magnetic transducer includes sendust center core having an opening and a head gap extending from the opening to one side of the center core, and a pair of reinforcing cores. Each of the reinforcing cores includes a ferrite plate and a glass member mounted on one side of the ferrite plate. The center core is sandwiched between the two reinforcing cores such that the glass members are located on opposite sides, respectively, of the center core where the head gap is formed, and that one side of the center core is in flush with, or projects from, respective side faces of the glass member. The glass member is formed by a material having an abrasiveness resistivity which is smaller than that of said center core.

In a magnetic head including an inner core of metallic magnetizable material sandwiched between a pair of outer reinforcing cores each having a coil winding insertion opening formed in it, the inner core includes a first core block which has a front gap defining surface and a back or rear gap defining surface respectively provided at one side and the other side of the first core block and a coil winding recess provided in a position adjacent to the front gap defining surface, and which is formed, between the front gap defining surface and the coil winding recess, with a space or groove for setting the lower end of the front gap defining surface and a brazing material layer for connecting the space or groove with the coil winding recess, and a second core block to be combined with the first core block so as to constitute the inner core.
