Electric-power management system, an area controller transmits, to each of section controllers, information about a target voltage and information about the present voltage, each of the section controllers calculating a difference between the target voltage and the present voltage, received from the area controller, and calculating a power's demand-supply-adjustment request amount based on difference between the information about the voltages, each of facility-equipment controllers transmitting power-reception/power-release capable equipment information to each section controller, being information about a power-reception/power-release capable equipment in a facility into which the facility-equipment controller is installed, the section controller, based on the power-reception/power-release capable equipment information about the equipment, transmitting the equipment's demand-supply-adjustment request amount and the facility-equipment controller transmitting a control signal to the equipment based on the equipment's demand-supply-adjustment request amount received from the section controller to the facility-equipment controller in the facility.

In a distributed system having a plurality of processors connected to a common transmission line, each processor comprises means for registering erroneous programs within the processor, and means for changing modes, so that a program is diagnosed on the basis of a processed result of data accepted from the transmission line and is registered in the erroneous program registration means if it is erroneous, and that the mode change means changes-over the test mode and the on-line mode by reference to the erroneous program registration means and in correspondence with the programs registered in or canceled from the registration means.

In a system which includes of subsystems, and a transmission medium for coupling them, and in which a token is sent to the transmission medium, whereby the transmission medium is occupied; a transmission control method characterized, at least, in that each of the certain subsystems appends a code indicative of a function of certain data to the token and sends the resulting data to the medium, and that the subsystem receiving the data refers to the code indicative of the function of the data, thereby to independently judge whether or not the data is to be accepted into the own subsystem.
