The present invention provides a concave diffraction grating and an optical device using the concave diffraction grating, the concave diffraction grating being capable of preventing deformation of a reflection film due to the influence of temperature, and preventing deterioration in optical characteristic due to temperature. This concave diffraction grating is provided with: a reflection film () having a plurality of grating grooves (); a holding film () comprising metal and having one surface on which the reflection film () is provided; a concave substrate () having a concave surface (); and an affixing layer () provided between the concave surface () and the other surface of the holding film (), and affixing the holding film () and the reflection film () to the concave substrate ().

The present invention makes improvements in a mobile communication system that performs a communication via a communication network provided in a mobile body to execute a data transfer. In a forward error correction method and a forward error correction addition apparatus, error correction is performed on the basis of data, to which forward error correction code is added, transmitted through a network to output decoded data. The data transmitted through the network includes information bits represented by an information bit matrix with n rows and m columns (n, m are natural numbers), and redundancy bits represented by an odd number of redundancy information bit rows and an odd number of redundancy information bit columns based on the information bit matrix, which are provided in the row direction and in the column direction of the information bit matrix respectively. The redundancy bits are the forward error correction code.

A camera system has a device for recording an image of a photographing field in a recording medium such as a photographing negative color film, a photometering device for forming brightness information concerning the brightness of the photographing field, and a color information forming device for forming, in accordance with the brightness information, color information concerning the color of the light from a light source for illuminating the photographing field. The printing process after the deployment of the image is executed with a suitable control of the printing exposure light quantity in accordance with the color information so that a color print of a good quality can be obtained with a high reproducibility of the color.
