A battery remaining amount detection unit includes: a voltage measurement section configured to measure a voltage of a battery; an open-circuit voltage calculation section configured to calculate an estimated open-circuit voltage; and a remaining amount detection section configured to detect a remaining amount of the battery from the estimated open-circuit voltage, in which the open-circuit voltage calculation section is configured to calculate a first voltage change amount as a voltage change amount from a no-load voltage when no load is applied to the battery and a closed-circuit voltage when a load is applied to the battery, and the open-circuit calculation section is configured to calculate the estimated open-circuit voltage based on the closed-circuit voltage of the battery and the first voltage change amount.

A battery pack includes a secondary battery including a plurality of cell blocks, a measuring section, a charge and discharge control switch, a protection circuit, and a memory. The measuring section detects a voltage, a current, and an internal resistance, of the secondary battery. The controller monitors the voltage and the current of the secondary battery and outputs a request signal indicative of a charge condition to charge the secondary battery in accordance with the charge condition which is set. The protection circuit monitors voltages of the plurality of cell blocks. The memory registers an initial internal resistance of the secondary battery. The controller calculates a deterioration coefficient by a ratio of the internal resistance detected by the measuring section to the initial internal resistance registered in the memory, and changes the charge condition in accordance with the deterioration coefficient.

A battery pack is disclosed. The battery pack includes at least one battery, a switch section, a measurement section, and a deterioration level calculation section. The switch section turns on and off charging to the battery. The measurement section measures an open circuit voltage of the battery. The deterioration level calculation section calculates the deterioration level of the battery based on the open circuit voltage measured by the measurement section after the switch section has repeatedly turned on and off the charging 10 times or more.

A focus voltage control apparatus adapted for a color CRT and capable of achieving a just focused state of any desired color even in monochromatic display. Red, green and blue color signals R, G, B are integrated per horizontal line period in integrating/peak holding circuits and then are weighted respectively in weight control circuits. Subsequently the maximum one of the color signals is detected in a comparator, and one of color selection signals SR, SG, SB is outputted in accordance with the result of such detection and then is supplied to focus voltage converters for the individual colors. A reference focus voltage refV is converted into a color focus voltage VR, VG or VB on the basis of the color selection signal SR, SG or SB for just focusing the color signal R, G or B. One of such focus voltages is supplied to a focus voltage driver and then is shifted to a higher-level focus voltage V which is supplied to a CRT, whereby the maximum one of the entire color signals included in the input video signal is displayed in a just focused state.
