Motor bodies are housed between a case and a case-inner, with the whole of the outside-periphery surrounded by an outer peripheral wall. The upper-side-outer-peripheral face of the outer-peripheral wall slopes continuously downwards on progression from an uppermost portion of the outer-peripheral face towards a vehicle right side edge of the outer-peripheral face, and slopes continuously downwards from the uppermost portion towards the vehicle left side edge of the outer-peripheral face. Accordingly, even suppose water is to reach the upper side of the upper-side-outer-peripheral face, the upper-side-outer peripheral face of the outer-peripheral wall causes such water to always flow downwards towards the lower side of the outer-peripheral wall, and hence water can be suppressed or prevented from remaining standing on the upper-side-outer peripheral face of the outer-peripheral wall, enabling water to be suppressed or prevented from seeping in to the motor bodies.

Mirror device for vehicle

Suppressing liquid from seeping into an adjusting section through a discharge hole. In a vehicle door mirror device an opening hole in a holder portion of a mirror-surface adjustment-device is in communication with opening outlet of a mirror holder outer through an opening outlet in the mirror holder outer and a gap between the mirror and the mirror holder outer. Accordingly, even suppose water seeps into the mirror-surface adjustment-device through the opening hole in the holder portion, the water would be externally discharged outside the mirror holder outer through the opening hole, the opening outlet, the gap and the opening outlet. Furthermore, even suppose water at high pressure from outside the mirror holder outer is to reach the opening outlet, the water can be suppressed from seeping into the mirror-surface adjustment-device through the opening outlet and the opening hole due to the water pressure being reduced in the gap.

There is provided a vehicle mirror apparatus including: a mirror provided to a vehicle; a worm gear rotated by driving force from a base end side of the worm gear; a wheel gear engaged with the worm gear, the wheel gear adjusting a mirror-face angle of the mirror by being rotated due to the worm gear rotating; and a radial direction stopper portion that stops radial direction displacement of the worm gear towards the wheel gear radial direction outside by the leading end side of the worm gear making contact with the radial direction stopper portion.

Vehicle mirror apparatus

A vehicle mirror apparatus comprising a mirror provided at a vehicle; a pivoting member holding the mirror; a sliding part provided at the pivoting member; a holding member pivotably holding the pivoting member, whereby an angle of a mirror surface of the mirror is adjusted; and a pivoting surface provided at the holding member. The sliding part is made slidable on the pivoting surface while a gap is provided between an edge of the holding member at a side of the pivoting member and the pivoting member in a pivoting radial direction of the pivoting member.

A retracting mechanism, which rotates a mirror for viewing a region substantially to a rear of the vehicle, has a motor, a cover which accommodates another end side of the motor, and a case main body which accommodates one end side of the motor and is rotatably supported at a vehicle body. In the retracting mechanism, the case main body and the cover are positioned due to a first fit-together portion, which is provided at a hanging-down wall of the cover, and a second fit-together portion, which is provided at a standing wall of the case main body, fitting-together with one another. The first fit-together portion and the second fit-together portion are both formed in shapes which are concentric with a rotating shaft. Accordingly, accuracy of positioning the case main body and the cover can be ensured to be good with the rotating shaft as a reference.

Mirror device for a vehicle

A cover body ( ) has mounting claws ( ), which are provided on a peripheral part thereof and restrained by a wire ring ( ) from deforming toward the center of the cover body. The cover body is attached to a disc wheel of a vehicle by these mounting claws in such a way as to cover an outer surface part of the disc wheel. In this wheel cover, the necessity for additionally attaching the wire ring to the cover body is eliminated by inserting the wire ring thereinto and performing die-forming. Further, the stiffness of the cover body can be enhanced. Thus, a forming cycle time can be decreased. Moreover, the thickness of the cover body can be reduced.

Wheel cover

The contact area between the wheel cover and an engaged part of a disc wheel is increased by providing a projecting part ( ) on an outer surface ( ) of a bulge part ( ), which is an engaging surface of a mounting claw ( ) to be engaged with the annular engaged part of the disc wheel and used for mounting a wheel cover. Further, the friction therebetween is increased. Thus, an operation of hindering rotation of the wheel cover is achieved without forming a rib on the wheel cover and without forming a stopper on the disc wheel.

An attaching structure of a wheel cap for attaching a flexible annular molding to a wheel cap body of a car, by which the former is easily and surely attached to the latter. An engaging leg of the flexible annular molding includes a proximal portion, a first engaging part, a second engaging part, and a distal end part. The first and second engaging part includes a first and a second projecting part, respectively. These first and second engaging parts project in a direction generally perpendicular to a direction in which the engaging leg extends, and project in different directions. The annular molding includes a first concave part between a molding body and the first projecting part; and a second concave part between the molding body and the second projecting part. Meanwhile, the wheel cap body includes a through-hole whose inner length corresponding to both the axial direction and the first concave part is approximately equal to a length in the axial direction of the first concave part, and whose inner length corresponding to both the axial direction and the second concave part is approximately equal to a length in the axial direction of the second concave part.
