A continuous forming apparatus of a fiber reinforced composite includes a tension detection mechanism, a drive motor, and a drive control device. The drive control device is configured so that a material roll is rotationally driven in a delivery direction of a reinforced fiber base material during a time period from a time point of end of pressurization in a forming process to a time point of end of a pulling-out process, and is also configured to perform tension control on the reinforced fiber base material based on a detected tension value from the tension detection mechanism and a target tension value, during a time period from a time point of start of the pulling-out process to a time point of end of the pressurization in the forming process in a next forming operation.

Continuous forming apparatus of fiber reinforced composite

A tape arranging device includes guide roller units and a moving unit. Tape materials are capable of passing through the respective guide roller units. Each of the tape materials is configured with fibers impregnated with resin. The moving unit is configured to move the guide roller units and to change a distance between adjacent ones of the guide roller units. The adjacent ones of the guide roller units are adjacent to each other.

A cutting device includes a drive mechanism for causing displacement of a cutting blade toward a cutting position on a securing member side which pinches a route with the cutting blade provided for each route of a fiber bundle. The drive mechanism includes a plate-shaped movable unit provided for each of the cutting blades, to which the cutting blade is attached, a support unit supporting the movable unit to be displaceable and facing the movable unit in a plate-shaped part, a permanent magnet provided on one side in the movable unit and the plate-shaped part, and an exciting coil provided on the other side. The permanent magnet and the exciting coil are provided so that the movable unit is displaced as the exciting coil is excited.

An automatic laminating apparatus includes: a lay-up head provided with a raw-cloth roller on which a thermoplastic prepreg is wound and a pressing device for pressing the thermoplastic prepreg drawn from the raw-cloth roller against a lamination surface; and a welding device provided with a welding head pressed against the thermoplastic prepreg to temporarily weld the thermoplastic prepreg to the lamination surface, the automatic laminating apparatus laminating the thermoplastic prepreg by performing a lamination operation of moving the lay-up head to lay the thermoplastic prepreg having a predetermined length on the lamination surface, in which the welding device is provided in the lay-up head, and the automatic laminating apparatus further comprises a drive control device that causes the welding device to perform temporary welding of the thermoplastic prepreg laid in the lamination operation in a course of the lamination operation.

A cutting mechanism includes a cutter roll and a rotational driving mechanism for rotationally driving the cutter roll. The cutter roll has a roll body and a blade portion protruding from a peripheral surface of the roll body. The blade portion is formed at a same position on a circumference of the roll body and extends in an axial direction of the roll body. The cutter roll is arranged so that the axial direction is at a predetermined angle with respect to a pull-out direction of the reinforcing fiber material. The cutting mechanism further includes a slide mechanism that displaces cutter roll in the axial direction toward a side in the pull-out direction of the reinforcing fiber material at least when the reinforcing fiber material is cut.

A slitter device includes a first tension detecting unit for obtaining a raw-cloth tension value which is a tension value of a sheet material fed out from a let-off mechanism, a second tension detecting unit for obtaining a divided material tension value which is the sum of the tension values of each of divided sheet materials, and a drive control device which includes a comparator to which the first tension detecting unit and the second tension detecting unit are connected, and which compares the raw-cloth tension value and the divided material tension value with each other; and a drive controller which controls an operating state of a roll driving motor such that the raw-cloth tension value and the divided material tension value coincide or substantially coincide with each other based on the comparison result of the comparator.

Slitter device

An automatic lay-up machine includes a head device and a support mechanism. The head device includes a sheet supplying unit that supplies a prepreg sheet including sheet-shaped prepreg and release paper bonded to a surface of the prepreg, a lay-up unit that lays up the prepreg on a receiving surface by pressing the prepreg sheet against the receiving surface, and a sheet take-up unit that takes up the release paper separated from the prepreg. The support mechanism supports the head device and includes a mechanism for moving the head device in a lay-up direction of the prepreg and a width direction of the prepreg sheet. The head device is moved in the width direction while a position of an edge of the prepreg sheet coincides with a lay-up position and an end portion of the prepreg sheet is pressed against the receiving surface.

A sheet material supplying device includes a tension detection device that detects tensions at both end portions of the unprocessed sheet material in a widthwise direction of the sheet material; an engaging roller that engages the sheet material at a location that is upstream of the processing section in a path of the sheet material that is drawn out; a supporting mechanism that supports both end portions of the engaging roller and that is displaceably supported with respect to the frame such that an axis of the engaging roller is tiltable in a direction that crosses a sheet surface of the sheet material with which the engaging roller engages; an actuator that is connected to the supporting mechanism and that displaces the supporting mechanism; and a drive control device that controls driving of the actuator on the basis of the tensions detected by the tension detection device.

A yarn breakage detecting system includes yarn detectors for detecting warp yarns forming a warp and for providing yarn detection signals, and a signal processing unit for counting peaks in the yarn detection signals, representing the warp yarns and for providing a yarn breakage detection signal when the number of peaks is smaller than a predetermined number. The warp yarns are divided into a plurality of groups and the adjacent groups are spaced apart by a predetermined distance greater than the pitches of the warp yarns in the groups by spacers or demarcated by identifiers, and the yarn detectors are respectively assigned to the groups of warp yarns. Since the monitoring range of each yarn detector is relatively narrow, the yarn detector can accurately detect the warp yarns at a high resolution in a relatively short time.
