A pressure-reducing valveincludes a tubular valve bodymovably accommodated in a housing, a valve seatfixed inside the housing, and an urging memberthat urges the valve bodyin a direction separating from the valve seat. The valve seatincludes an annular elastic member (O-ring) capable of abutting against the valve body, an annular portion (inner ring portion) that covers an outer periphery of the elastic member, an inner peripheral portiondisposed on an inner periphery of the elastic member, a connecting portion (closing plate portion) that connects the annular portion and the inner peripheral portion, and a detachment prevention portion provided in at least one of the inner peripheral portionand the annular portion on a valve body side to prevent the elastic member from detaching from the annular portion.

Pressure-reducing valve and method for manufacturing same

A hot and cold water mixing valve including a temperature adjusting dial, and a cylindrical casing having formed therein a hot water inlet and a cold water inlet is provided with a control valve member in which one end thereof is subjected to a load from a biasing member and the other end is subjected to a load from an actuator. By balancing between the loads applied by the biasing member and the actuator, a mixture ratio between the hot water which flows in through the hot water inlet and the cold water which flows in through the cold water inlet is adjusted. A temperature adjuster adjusts a position of the control valve member through the biasing member and includes a tapered skirt portion, which spreads in a radial direction, at an end on the control valve member side thereof.

Thermally actuated hot and cold water mixing valve configured to minimize valve hunting

A mixing faucet () includes a casing () having a hot water inlet opening (), a cold water inlet opening (), and an outlet opening (); a control valve element () slidably mounted in the casing (); a temperature adjusting screw () rotatably disposed in the casing (); a slider () sliding in the casing () through rotation of the temperature adjusting screw (); a bias spring () disposed in the casing (), between the control valve element () and the slider (), and biasing the control valve element () toward the cold water inlet opening (); a temperature sensing spring () which biases the control valve element () toward the hot water inlet opening (); and a pull-up spring () for biasing the control valve element () toward the hot water inlet opening ().

Mixing faucet

The hot and cold water mixing valve having a cylindrical casing is provided with a control valve member which adjusts a ratio between hot and cold water inlets by balancing loads applied by a biasing member and an actuator, and cylindrical temperature adjuster which adjusts a position of the control valve member when rotated. In the temperature adjuster, an upper surface is formed at one end, a knob is provided in the center of the upper surface, and a ring-shaped recess is formed around the knob at the upper surface. The temperature adjuster is arranged inside the casing and the knob is inserted, coaxially with the casing, into the hole which opens at one end of the casing. A spacer which covers the recess is interposed and held between the upper surface of the temperature adjuster and one end of the casing.

Hot and cold water mixing valve

A hot water-water mixing faucet holds a control valve body in a balanced position between a bias spring and a temperature-sensitive coil spring. An adjusting screwsupports the bias spring in an axial direction to change setting of the supporting position of the bias spring, and a rear end side of the bias spring is supported by a supporting member which is formed separately from the adjusting screw. The supporting member is slidably inserted in the axial direction into a through-hole provided on the adjusting screw and is connected detachably to the adjusting screw by an abutting section provided in an area protruding from the through-hole toward the bias spring side. A lifting spring biases the supporting member to pull the supporting member back toward the side opposite to the bias spring to the adjusting screw
