A vehicle includes a secondary battery, a power receiver, a charger, a heat generator, and a battery temperature raising unit. The power receiver receives an electromagnetic wave to generate electric power. The charger charges the secondary battery by using the electric power generated by the power receiver. The heat generator receives the electromagnetic wave to generate heat. The battery temperature raising unit raises temperature of the secondary battery by using the heat generator as a heat source. A part of a heat generation band, which is a frequency band of the electromagnetic wave in which the heat generator has an increased heat generation efficiency, does not overlap a power generation band, which is a frequency band of the electromagnetic wave in which the power receiver has an increased power generation efficiency, and a part of the power generation band does not overlap the heat generation band.

Vehicle and non-contact power feeding apparatus

A battery management system for electric vehicles includes electric vehicles each including a battery to supply electric power to a driving motor and an information processor to communicate with the electric vehicles. The electric vehicles each include a degradation state detector to detect a degradation state of the battery, and a usage state detector to detect a usage state of the battery. The information processor include a battery information storage to store information about the degradation state and the usage state of the battery, a degradation state estimator to estimate a future degradation state of the battery of a specific electric vehicle, based on the information stored in the battery information storage, and a vehicle control changer to change control of a certain electric vehicle to delay degradation of the battery if the future degradation state of the battery is estimated to deteriorate by a predetermined amount or greater.

Battery management system for electric vehicles and electric vehicle

A heater apparatus includes a base member, a cover member supported by the base member, a cloth member provided between the base member and the cover member to hold a heater wire, and a heater temperature sensor brought into contact with the cloth member, covered on a base member side facing the base member and a cover member side facing the cover member with the cloth member, and configured to detect a temperature of the heater wire. The cover member has a cover recessed portion recessed towards the base member in an overlapping region where the cloth member on the base member side and the cloth member on the cover member side of the heater temperature sensor overlap.

Heater apparatus

A vehicle power supply apparatus includes a battery, a power supply line, a power control unit coupled to the battery via the power supply line, a first main switch provided on a positive power supply line, a second main switch provided on a negative power supply line, a precharge resistor and a resistor switch coupled together in series on a bypass line that bypasses the positive power supply line and the negative power supply line, and a service plug to be brought into either one of a power supply state in which electric power is supplied from the battery to the power control unit and an interrupted state in which the supply of the electric power is interrupted. When the service plug is brought into the interrupted state, the resistor switch is brought into conduction to cause a current to flow from the battery to the precharge resistor.

Vehicle power supply apparatus

An onboard battery for a vehicle includes battery modules each including battery cells, an auxiliary device for charging, and a housing case housing the battery modules and auxiliary device. Cooling air is taken from air intake holes into the battery modules to cool the battery cells. A middle of a transversal direction of the battery modules is shifted to either left or right of a center of a transversal direction of a vehicle. The auxiliary device is disposed at an other end portion in the transversal direction. Each air intake hole is between a left and right end of each battery module and in a back of each battery module. A side opposite to a side of the auxiliary device has an air introducing portthat takes cooling air into the housing case.

Onboard battery for vehicle

An onboard battery includes an accommodation case that has a hollow cross section formed with multiple cavities, and at least one battery module that has at least one battery cell and is accommodated in the accommodation case. At least one disposition depression that communicates with one of the multiple cavities and is opened upward is formed in a portion positioned below the at least one battery module in the accommodation case, and at least one heater that heats the at least one battery cell is disposed in the at least one disposition depression so as not to be in contact with the at least one battery cell.
