A post-processing device includes an intermediate tray on which a medium transported in a transport direction is placed, a discharge port through which the medium post-processed on the intermediate tray is discharged, a discharge tray which is disposed in a gravity direction with respect to the discharge port and on which the medium discharged from the discharge port is placed, and an elevating mechanism which elevates the discharge tray, in which the elevating mechanism can move the discharge tray to a first normal position and a first standby position positioned in a direction opposite to the gravity direction with respect to the first normal position, and moves the discharge tray to the first normal position or the first standby position according to an amount of ink before the medium comes in contact with the discharge tray or the medium previously placed on the discharge tray.

Post-processing device and printing system

A recording apparatus includes: a housing body in which a recording portion that performs recording is housed; a curved reversal path along a curve of which the medium, after the recording, is turned over to be guided to a position above the recording portion; a medium receiving tray that is provided over the recording portion at a position of horizontally overlapping with the housing body and receives the medium ejected through the curved reversal path; a relaying portion that is provided over the medium receiving tray at a position of horizontally overlapping with the housing body and sends the medium coming along the curved reversal path to an area horizontally outside the housing body; and a course switcher that switches a course of the medium beyond the curved reversal path to either the medium receiving tray or the relaying portion.

Recording apparatus and relaying apparatus

There is provided a recording apparatus including a recording head that can eject an ink onto a sheet, a transport unit that transports the sheet to the recording head, a housing that contains the recording head and the transport unit, a case that is arranged on an outer surface of the housing so that the bottom portion thereof is positioned higher than a bottom surface of the housing, and that serves as a holder which holds an ink container containing an ink, and a supply unit that supplies the ink from the ink container to the recording head.

A recording apparatus includes a recording head that is disposed inside an apparatus housing and that ejects a liquid onto a medium; a liquid container attaching/detaching unit that is configured such that a liquid container which contains the liquid is attached/detached to/from the liquid container attaching/detaching unit itself and that is configured to be inserted/extracted through an inserting/extracting opening provided in the apparatus housing; and a liquid feeding path that feeds the liquid from the liquid container to the recording head. A unit-side path and an apparatus-housing-side path which constitute the liquid feeding path are mutually connected by the insertion of the liquid container attaching/detaching unit through the inserting/extracting opening of the apparatus housing, and the mutual connection is disconnected by the extraction of the liquid container attaching/detaching unit through the inserting/extracting opening of the apparatus housing.
