A composite magnetic material includes a powder and a resin. The powder has a main component containing Fe or Fe and Co. An average minor axis length in primary particles of the powder is 100 nm or less. A point satisfying (X, Y)=(&#x3c3;/A(%), (A-&#x3c3;)) on an XY coordinate plane is present within a region (including a boundary) surrounded by three points &#x3b1;(24.5, 6.7), &#x3b2;(72.0, 1.2), and &#x3b3;(24.5, 1.2), in which an average of aspect ratios in the primary particles of the powder is set to A, and a standard deviation of the aspect ratios in the primary particles of the powder is set to &#x3c3;.

Composite magnetic material, magnetic core, and electronic component

An Fe&#x2014;Co&#x2014;Al alloy magnetic thin film contains, in terms of atomic ratio, 20% to 30% Co and 1.5% to 2.5% Al. The Fe&#x2014;Co&#x2014;Al alloy magnetic thin film has a crystallographic orientation such that the (100) plane is parallel to a substrate surface and the &#x3c;100&#x3e; direction is perpendicular to the substrate surface. The Fe&#x2014;Co&#x2014;Al alloy magnetic thin film has good magnetic properties, that is, a magnetization of 1440 emu/cc or more, a coercive force of less than 100 Oe, a damping factor of less than 0.01, and an FMR linewidth &#x394;H at 30 GHz of less than 70 Oe.

Fe&#x2014;Co&#x2014;Al alloy magnetic thin film

An LC composite component includes a magnetic substrate with magnetism, a magnetic layer with magnetism, inductors, capacitors, and core parts with magnetism. The magnetic substrate includes a first surface and a second surface on a side opposite to the first surface. The magnetic layer is disposed to face the first surface of the magnetic substrate. The inductors and the capacitors are disposed between the first surface of the magnetic substrate and the magnetic layer. The core parts are disposed between the first surface of the magnetic substrate and the magnetic layer and connected to the magnetic layer. The thickness of the core part is 1.0 or more times the thickness of the magnetic layer, the thickness of the magnetic substrate is 1.0 or more times the thickness of the magnetic layer.

LC composite component

The present invention provides a composite magnetic body comprising metal particles containing Fe or Fe and Co as a main component and a resin, wherein an average major axis diameter of the metal particles is 30 to 500 nm, an average of the aspect ratios of the metal particles is 1.5 to 10, and a CV value of the aspect ratios is 0.40 or less.

The present invention provides a composite magnetic body comprising metal particles containing Fe or Fe and Co as a main component, a resin, and voids, wherein an average major axis diameter of the metal particles is 30 to 500 nm, an average aspect ratio of the metal particles is 1.5 to 10, and in a cross section of the composite magnetic body, a percent presence of the voids is 0.2 to 10 area % and an average equivalent circle diameter of the voids is 1 &#x3bc;m or less, and a saturation magnetization of the composite magnetic body is 300 to 600 emu/cm.

An LC composite component includes a non-magnetic substrate, a magnetic layer with magnetism, capacitors, inductors, and core parts with magnetism. The non-magnetic substrate includes a first surface and a second surface on a side opposite to the first surface. The magnetic layer is disposed to face the first surface of the non-magnetic substrate. The inductors and the capacitors are disposed between the first surface of the non-magnetic substrate and the magnetic layer. The core parts are disposed between the first surface of the non-magnetic substrate and the magnetic layer and connected to the magnetic layer. The thickness of the core parts is 1.0 or more times the thickness of the magnetic layer in a direction perpendicular to the first surface of the non-magnetic substrate, and each of the magnetic layer and the core parts contains magnetic metal particles and resin.

An R-T-B based sintered magnet has excellent corrosion resistance together with good magnetic properties. The R-T-B based sintered magnet contains RTB grains, wherein, an R&#x2014;Cu-M-C concentrated part is existed in a grain boundary formed between or among two or more adjacent RTB grains, and the concentrations of R (R is at least one from Sc, Y and the lanthanoide element), Cu, M (M is at least one from Ga, Si, Sn, Ge and Bi) and C in the R&#x2014;Cu-M-C concentrated part are higher than those in the RTB grains respectively.

R-T-B based sintered magnet and motor

The present invention provides an R-T-B based sintered magnet that inhibits the demagnetization rate at high temperature even when less or no heavy rare earth elements such as Dy, Tb and the like are used. The R-T-B based sintered magnet includes RTB crystal grains and two-grain boundary parts between the RTB crystal grains. Two-grain boundary parts formed by R&#x2014;Co&#x2014;Cu-M-Fe phase exist, and M is at least one selected from the group consisting of Ga, Si, Sn, Ge and Bi.

The present invention provides an R-T-B based sintered magnet having excellent corrosion resistance together with good magnetic properties. The R-T-B based sintered magnet contains RTB crystal grains, wherein, an R&#x2014;Ga&#x2014;Co&#x2014;Cu&#x2014;N concentrated part exists in a grain boundary formed between or among two or more adjacent RTB crystal grains, and the concentrations of R, Ga, Co, Cu and N in the R&#x2014;Ga&#x2014;Co&#x2014;Cu&#x2014;N concentrated part are higher than those in the RTB crystal grains respectively.

R-T-B BASED SINTERED MAGNET AND ROTATING MACHINE

The present invention provides an R-T-B based sintered magnet that inhibits the demagnetization rate at high temperature even when less or no heavy rare earth elements such as Dy, Tb and the like are used. The R-T-B based sintered magnet comprises RTB crystal grains and two-grain boundary parts between the RTB crystal grains. Two-grain boundary parts formed by a phase containing R, Cu, Co, Ga and Fe with a ratio of 40&#x2264;R&#x2264;70, 1&#x2264;Co&#x2264;10, 5&#x2264;Cu&#x2264;50, 1&#x2264;Ga&#x2264;15, and 1&#x2264;Fe&#x2264;40 (wherein, R+Cu+Co+Ga+Fe=100, and R is at least one selected from rare earth elements) exists in the magnet.

A ceramic substrate is provided as one having a large coefficient of thermal expansion &#x3b1;, having properties suitable for use as a high-frequency substrate, being capable of being fired at a low temperature, and having an excellent substrate strength. The ceramic substrate has a main composition containing MgSiOand a low-temperature-fired component, has the coefficient of thermal expansion a of not less than 9.0 ppm/&#xb0; C., and contains up to 25 vol. % (excluding zero) ZnAlOor up to 7 vol. % (excluding zero) AlO. A dielectric-porcelain composition is provided as one being capable of being fired at a temperature lower than a melting point of an Ag-based metal and being capable of demonstrating a sufficient bending strength even through firing at a low firing temperature. The dielectric-porcelain composition contains MgSiOas a major component and contains a zinc oxide, a boron oxide, an alkaline earth metal oxide, a copper compound, and a lithium compound as minor components.

Ceramic substrate, process for producing the same, and dielectric-porcelain composition

There is provided a dielectric ceramic material in which the firing temperature dependency of the relative dielectric constant can be suppressed and the mechanical strength can be improved. Specifically, there is provided a dielectric ceramic material including: main constituents given by a composition located in the region, in a ternary diagram of ZrO, SnOand TiOshown in FIG., bounded by point A, point B, point C, point D, point E and point F; and ZnO: 0.5 to 5 wt %, NiO: 0.1 to 3 wt %, and SiO: 0.008 to 1.5 wt % in relation to the total weight of the main constituents. The dielectric ceramic material can include NbO: 0.2 wt % or less and KO: 0.035 wt % or less in relation to the total weight of the main constituents.

Dielectric ceramic material

The present invention can provide a MgCuZn-based ferrite sintered compact which is constituted by having as substantial main component compositions 7.5 to 23.0 mole % of magnesium oxide, 7.0 to 20.0 mole % of copper oxide, 19.0 to 24.2 mole % of zinc oxide and 48.5 to 50.3 mole % of ferric oxide, and the average particle diameter of the ferrite sintered compact is in a range of 1.10 to 7.30 &mgr;m while the standard deviation &sgr; of the size distribution is in a range of 0.60 to 10.00, resulting in the ferrite sintered compact which has a high impedance with a frequency of not less than 50 MHz and is capable of efficiently cutting of radiant noise by selecting inexpensive materials.

Ferrite sintered compact

There is disclosed an MnMgCuZn ferrite material which contains ranges of 46.5 to 50.4 mol % of iron oxide, 10.5 to 22.0 mol % of magnesium oxide, 22.5 to 25.0 mol % of zinc oxide, 6.0 to 16.0 mol % of copper oxide, and 0.1 to 3.5 mol % of manganese oxide. Advantages of an MnMgCuZn ferrite material that resistivity is relatively high and material cost is low are utilized to realize a superior MnMgCuZn ferrite material which is much smaller in magnetic loss than conventional materials of the same series and which has a sufficient saturated magnetic flux density.
