A pad pin receiver includes a body plate is attached to an inner side of a pin insertion portion provided in a back plate of a disc brake pad. The pin insertion portion engages with a pin inserted into the pin insertion portion during braking. The body plate covers a portion of an inner peripheral surface of the pin insertion portion. A bent plate is bent at at least one end portion of the body plate in a length direction of the body plate. When the body plate is attached to the pin insertion portion, the body plate extends in a thickness direction of the back plate, and the bent plate overlaps with the back plate in the thickness direction of the back plate.

Pad pin receiver, disc brake pad, and disc brake device

A disc brake device includes a pair of pads, a pad support member supporting at least one of the pair of pads in a movable manner in an axial direction, and a plurality of pistons configured to press the one of the pads toward the rotor in the axial direction. Slide engagement portions engaged with the pad support member so as to be movable in the axial direction are respectively provided at both side portions of the one of the pads in a circumferential direction. The one of the pads is fixed to a tip end portion of at least one piston including a piston arranged at an end portion on a rotation-in side or a rotation-out side among the plurality of pistons, and is not fixed to a tip end portion of a remaining piston.

Disc brake device and disc brake pad

A disc brake pad includes a lining and a back plate supporting the lining and having a projecting lug portion and a torque transfer surface. The projecting lug portion projects towards a rotor exit side. The torque transfer surface is disposed at a side edge portion which is situated further radially inwards than the lug portion. The projecting lug portion includes a first projecting arc-shaped surface portion which is disposed at a radially innermost portion of a radially inner surface of the lug portion. A portion of the torque transfer surface which lies near to a radially outer end of the torque transfer surface and which is situated further radially inwards than both of the radially inner surface and an action line of a brake tangential force exerted on braking is most projected toward the rotor exit side on the torque transfer surface.

Disk brake pad and disc brake assembly

There is provided a protection clip for a torque receiving part. The protection clip is fitted into a concave portion of a torque receiving part of a caliper body, into which a lug part of a brake pad of a disc brake is inserted. The protection clip includes first and second separation preventing claws. The first separation preventing claw is bent from an outer periphery-side wall surface of the concave portion toward an upper attaching surface of the torque receiving part, and is configured to be fitted into one of a pair of recesses formed over an opening of the concave portion. The second separation preventing claw is bent from a lower attaching surface of the torque receiving part toward the concave portion, and is configured to be fitted into the other of the pair of recesses.
