An electromagnetic wave-absorption multilayer substrate has an electromagnetic wave-absorption sheet which includes a soft magnetic alloy powder and a binding agent and two insulating substrates which have facing surfaces facing the electromagnetic wave-absorption sheet and which are pressure-bonded thereto. In addition, one of the insulating substrates has a plurality of holes formed in the facing surface.

An oscillator includes an oscillator circuit which includes an oscillator transistor and a resonant circuit. The oscillator circuit can change an oscillation frequency. An amplifier circuit receives an oscillation signal output from the oscillator circuit and amplifies the oscillation signal. The resonant circuit is connected at high frequencies between the base and the collector of the oscillator transistor. The oscillation signal is output from the resonant circuit.

This resonant line comprises a plurality of microstrip lines. The length of each of the microstrip lines is set so that the reactance between one end of each of the microstrip lines and the ground is equivalently inductive and one ends of the microstrip lines are connected to each other.

An oscillator with a buffer circuit comprises: an oscillation circuit having an oscillation transistor; and a buffer circuit which has an amplification transistor and amplifies an oscillation signal outputted from the oscillation circuit by the amplification transistor. A power supply voltage is applied to the collector of either the oscillation transistor or the amplification transistor, the emitter of the other transistor has a D.C. ground connection, and the emitter of the transistor to which the power supply voltage is applied is connected to the collector of the other transistor via a resistor.

A resonator includes an insulating plate having a circular through hole, an arc-shaped conductor line formed in the periphery of the through hole and on the top face of the insulating plate or in the inner wall of the through hole, a first electrode connected to one end of the conductor line and a second electrode connected to the other end of the conductor line wherein both first electrode and the second electrode are provided on a side face of the insulating plate.
