A housing includes a case member having an opened front face, and a cover member firmly fixed with the case member to close the opened front face of the case member. The case member has a penetration hole penetrating its side face. A movable part includes an inner member disposed inside the housing to control a circuit, and an outer member being a discrete piece from the inner member and exposed outside the housing to be manipulated by a user. The outer member includes a shaft part inserted through the penetration hole.

Switch

Disclosed a trigger switch including: a case having a switch chamber in which a switch mechanism is arranged in a sealed state; a plunger inserted slidably into a shaft hole formed on one end side of the case, coupled to the switch mechanism, and biased forward; and a trigger provided on a distal end of the plunger for operating the switch, wherein the switch mechanism includes an air pressure stabilizing mechanism configured to cancel an air compressing action in the interior of the switch chamber caused by the switch mechanism moving in the interior of the switch chamber. The air pressure stabilizing mechanism includes a communication hole extending from a rear end opening facing the switch chamber to a distal end opening on the plunger, and a plunger-engaging portion of the trigger includes a discharge port communicating with the communication hole and configured to release air from the communicating hole.

Trigger switch

In a trigger switch having a normal and reverse switching lever configured to switch the direction of rotation of a motor, a case is formed with a speed control unit storage chamber for storing a speed control unit, a revolving shaft storage chamber for storing a revolving shaft of the switching lever and a contact strip member storage chamber with continuing from the revolving shaft storage chamber through a shielding member therebetween for storing contact strip member of the switching lever, the revolving shaft storage chamber is formed with a revolving shaft engaging hole configured to allow the revolving shaft to be inserted in an engaged state on an upper portion thereof on the side of the trigger lever, and a waterproof device for covering at least a gap between the switching lever and the revolving shaft engaging hole is provided to prevent entry of water therein.

Disclosed a trigger switch including fixed contacts forming main contacts double in series and functioning as a switch for supplying a motor with power and slide plate parts connected to the fixed contacts; and movable contacts provided in an actuator interlocking with an operation part and auxiliary contacts sliding on the slide plate parts. Drawing the operation part causes the actuator to move forward making the movable contact come into electric contact with the fixed contact to supply the motor with power, simultaneously making the auxiliary contact bridge over the slide plate parts to achieve electric contact to make no potential in the contact between the movable contact and the fixed contact. Releasing the operation part make the movable contact separate from the fixed contact, simultaneously making the auxiliary contact bridging over the slide plate parts cause a break of the contact with the slide plate part.

Disclosed a trigger switch having a trigger to be locked stably when it is pulled in. The trigger has wall surfaces disposed oppositely leaving a space therebetween. Pivotal holes are formed in the wall surfaces and a pivotal shaft is inserted in said holes. Rotary shaft holes are formed in the wall surfaces, and a rotary shaft for inverting a switch is inserted in the rotary shaft holes. A stopper for stopping the trigger from being pulled while rotating about the pivotal shaft is mounted between the pivotal shaft and the rotary shaft. The stopper includes a stopper shaft engaged in stopper holes formed in the wall surfaces. A stopper button is mounted at an end of the stopper shaft. When the stopper button is pushed, the stopper shaft is moved to place a thinned portion thereof into the stopper holes, thus releasing the trigger from the stopper.

To provide a trigger switch having a simple structure that is capable of reducing bouncing when the contacts are switched ON/OFF, the trigger switch includes a switch mechanism integrated in a single assembly a power control unit that turns a plurality of switches provided on the switch mechanism ON/OFF depending on a degree of retraction of the control unit by moving a pressing member over a top of a seesaw-shaped switching bar, a motor brake and control element short-circuit unit that drives a movable armature having two short-circuit contacts and is sandwiched and held between two springs, and a speed control unit that slides a plurality of moving contacts disposed in parallel over sliding contacts disposed on a sliding circuit substrate so as to control both the supply of power and a control element, and thus control the rotation speed of a motor.

To electrically connect switch terminals of a housing and a control member in a switch for an electric tool with ease and to prevent the electric connection from becoming incomplete even when vibration occurs, elastic bodies for maintaining an electric connection are interposed between the control member and the switch terminals so that the control member and the switch terminals can maintain a stable connection even when vibration is imparted to the housing.
