The scanner has a body having a scanning unit, a display device, a keypad, a holding member holding together the display and the keypad, a mounting structure for mounting the holding member to the body, and a cable holder having a holding part for holding a plurality of cables and arranged in a floating state at one of the keypad and the display. The cable holder has two side walls and a bottom wall, with grooves at the tops of the side walls. Cables are arranged in the grooves and pressed by a part of the holding member when the holding member is attached to the display device and the keypad.

Scanner

A terminal unit has a mechanism processing an information recording card and a slit into which the card is inserted. The slit is provided on a side surface of said terminal unit. A slit upper portion in an upside of the slit overhangs outward with respect to a slit lower portion at a underside of the slit.

Terminal unit in which waterproof effect is improved

A cable guide, drawer and terminal device are provided. The terminal device has a casing. The drawer is moveable between open and closed positions into and out of the casing, respectively. The drawer has a front and a body, the front having a lip extending beyond the body. The cable guide has a guide part attached to the side of the drawer. The guide part has first and second ends. The first end is positioned toward the front of the drawer. The first end extends further beyond the body of the drawer than the second end. The guide part becomes progressively thinner from the first end to the second end so that a cable draped over the drawer is pushed away from the body of the drawer as the drawer is closed. The guide part may have a curved surface portion from the first end to the second end. The guide part may be shaped so that it does not interfere with a member attached to a side surface of the drawer. The guide part may have an attachment portion attached to the side surface of the drawer. In this case, The front of the drawer may extend above the top of the body and the attachment portion may have a notch. The notch may be formed into the attachment portion to extend toward the front of the drawer.

Cable guide, drawer structure and terminal device

An opening/closing mechanism for a drawer member includes a stopper member for stopping movement of the drawer member, where the position of a stopper member is variable, in the direction of movement of the drawer member, so as to adjust the degree of opening of the drawer member. Rotatable rollers are preferably provided on one of the drawer member and a housing therefore, and a stopper member provided on the other, engagable with the rollers for stopping movement of the drawer. The stopper member enables resumption of movement of the of the drawer after being stopped by the stopper member. If desired, a plurality of stopper members may be provided.

Opening/closing mechanism for drawer member

A check-out counter includes a side frame which has an entrance-side end and an exit-side end. A top plate is provided on the side frame and has a longitudinal direction. An accounting terminal is provided on the top plate. The top plate comprises a first end surface at the entrance-side end, a second end surface extending in the longitudinal direction from the entrance-side end to the exit-side end, and a circular rounded corner provided between the first end surface and the second end surface. The corner confronts an entrance part of an access lane related to the check-out counter and has a radius large enough for a customer to avoid interference with the corner when entering the access lane.
