A vehicle body structure includes a bumper beam extending in a vehicle width direction, and a pair of right and left bumper beam mounting members each disposed at an outer side in the vehicle width direction of a back face of the bumper beam and mounting the bumper beam on a front side frame. The bumper beam includes a first displacement promoting part that is provided at a mounting part for the bumper beam and the bumper beam mounting members and capable of promoting displacement of the bumper beam by a collision load. The bumper beam mounting member includes a second displacement promoting part that is provided at the mounting part and capable of promoting displacement of the bumper beam by a collision load.

Vehicle body structure

Provided is a vehicle body structure capable of preventing separation between a bumper beam and a bumper beam mounting member on the non-collision side at the time of an offset collision. The vehicle body structure includes a bumper beam, a pair of bumper beam mounting members, and a pair of holding members. The holding member includes an outer mounting portion for mounting an outer side in the vehicle width direction of the holding member on the bumper beam mounting member, and a front mounting portion for mounting an inner side in the vehicle width direction of the holding member on the front surface portion of the bumper beam. The front mounting portion extends to a position corresponding to a vehicle width direction inner end portion of the bumper beam mounting member in a front-rear direction at least on the front surface portion of the bumper beam.

Provided is a vehicle body front part structure including: a pair of left and right front side frames extending in a vehicle front-rear direction; and a front bulkhead connected to front end portions of the front side frames, wherein the front bulkhead includes a pair of upper and lower lateral frame parts extending in a left-right direction, and a pair of left and right vertical frame parts extending in an upper-lower direction to connect vehicle-width-direction outer end portions of the lateral frame parts.

Vehicle body front part structure

Provided is a vehicular door including a load transfer member. The load transfer member includes a transfer member body disposed in a wide-thickness portion in a door body, and a projection projecting downward from the transfer member body. The transfer member body has a lower region whose surface on a door-outer-panel side abuts on, or comes close to, the inner surface of the door outer panel, and an inclined region whose door-outer-panel side surface is inclined to come apart from the door outer panel and whose surface on a door-inner-panel side abuts on, or comes close to, the inner surface of the door inner panel. The thickness of the lower region and the inclined region in a door-thickness direction is set narrower than the width of an insertion portion between the door inner panel and a door beam.

Vehicular door

A vehicle bumper device is equipped with an energy absorption shaft that is provided at a rear portion of a bumper and protrudes the bumper toward a front of a vehicle; and a protrusion mechanism that is provided at the rear portion of the bumper and protrudes the bumper toward the front of the vehicle, wherein the protrusion mechanism is composed of a ball screw operated by a motor driving force, and the ball screw is arranged in parallel to the energy absorption shaft.

Vehicle bumper device

A vehicle brake system includes a brake mechanism for individually braking wheels, and a brake controller for controlling the brake mechanism against an oblique collision from behind or an offset collision with a host vehicle. The controller includes a collision predictor, a collision direction detector, and a colliding object speed detector. In accordance with a prediction signal transmitted from the collision predictor, a detection signal transmitted from the collision direction detector and a detection signal transmitted from the colliding object speed detector, the controller controls the operation of the brake mechanism to allocate braking forces to the respective wheels so as to prevent the turning of the host vehicle in a collision.

Vehicle brake system

A vehicle occupant protection apparatus includes a headrest control unit for drive-controlling a headrest actuating mechanism. This control unit itself predicts that a vehicle behind is about to impact its own vehicle, and controls the headrest actuating mechanism to move a seat headrest forward and thereby reduce the size of the gap between the headrest and the neck of the occupant of the seat.
