An electronic circuit includes a noise source and an analog circuit and a logic circuit that may be adversely affected by noise. At least a portion of the analog circuit and the logic circuit is formed on a buried impurity layer whose conductivity is different from that of a substrate, and at least a portion of the periphery of that portion is surrounded by an impurity layer that is different from the substrate. Thus, propagation of the noise from the noise source is prevented.

Circuit device and electronic apparatus

An H-bridge pre-driver is configured as two blocks so as to suit the width of an H-bridge driver Tr. The two blocks are line-symmetrically placed with a bias circuit interposed therebetween. One of the pre-driver blocks is laid out as a rectangle that is long in one direction and is short in a direction perpendicular to that direction. With this configuration, the pre-driver layout area can be reduced, and the cost of IC can be reduced. Furthermore, the symmetric placement enables matching of the impedance of interconnect from the pre-driver to the driver and stabilization of properties to be achieved.

A circuit device includes: a comparator that outputs an output signal that is activated when a potential of an input terminal is lower than a determination level; a switch circuit that is electrically connected between an output node connected to a switching element that enters a conduction state or a non-conduction state according to a drive signal and the input terminal of the comparator, and is in a non-conduction state when the switching element is in a conduction state; and a control circuit that controls a level of the drive signal such that the switching element will not enter a conduction state again based on a period during which or the number of times the output signal of the comparator is activated after the switching element has transitioned from a conduction state to a non-conduction state.

In order to suppress a negative influence on a circuit operation caused by variation in a substrate potential, a circuit device includes a bridge circuit having a high-side transistor and a low-side transistor, a detection circuit configured to detect current flowing in the bridge circuit, a control circuit configured to control switching on and off of the bridge circuit, and a guard region for setting a substrate PSB of the circuit device to a substrate potential.

A display driver includes a common electrode charge storage switch provided between a first capacitor element connection node to which one end of a first capacitor element can be connected and a common electrode voltage output node to which a voltage of a common electrode opposite to a pixel electrode of an electro-optical device through an electro-optical material is supplied, a source charge storage switch provided between a second capacitor element connection node to which one end of a second capacitor element can be connected and a source voltage output node to which a voltage of a source line of the electro-optical device is supplied, and a node short circuit switch provided between the common electrode voltage output node and the source voltage output node.
