An inductor component includes an element body having magnetism, a resin layer provided inside the element body, and inductor wirings provided inside the element body and having a contact surface that is in contact with the resin layer. A configuration ratio of the inductor wirings is equal to or less than about '0.9'. In a transverse plane of the inductor wirings perpendicular to an extending direction of the inductor wirings, in a case where a largest dimension among dimensions in a height direction perpendicular to the contact surface is defined as a maximum dimension, the configuration ratio is a ratio of the largest dimension to a dimension of the contact surface in the transverse plane.

Inductor component and method for manufacturing inductor component

A magnetic material is formed of an aggregate of magnetic particles. When a magnetic particle is rotated by 360/n degrees (n is an any integer equal to or greater than 6) around a gravity center position of the magnetic particle in a planar region, an area of the magnetic particle after the rotation overlaps with an area of the magnetic particle before the rotation by 90% or more. In the planar region, gravity center positions of from nine to eleven magnetic particles are on a band portion in a rectangular shape. For the magnetic particles in the planar region, when a number-based 50% cumulative frequency distribution of maximum lengths in a direction passing through respective gravity center positions is defined as α, a 10% cumulative frequency distribution is equal to or greater than 0.6α, and a 90% cumulative frequency distribution is equal to or less than 1.4α.

Magnetic material and inductor

A magnetic material includes magnetic particles. When a magnetic particle is rotated by 360/n degrees (n is an any integer equal to or greater than 2) around a gravity center position of the particle in a planar region, an area of the particle after the rotation overlaps with an area of the particle before the rotation by 90% or more. In the planar region, gravity center positions of from nine to eleven particles are present on a band portion in a rectangular shape. For the particles in the planar region, when a number-based 50% cumulative frequency distribution of maximum lengths in a direction passing through respective gravity center positions is defined as α, a 10% cumulative frequency distribution is equal to or greater than 0.9α, and a 90% cumulative frequency distribution is equal to or less than 1.1α. A surface of the particle is covered with an insulating film.

An inductor component includes an element body including a magnetic layer containing a resin and a magnetic powder; a coil wiring line arranged inside the element body; and an insulating coating film covering the coil wiring line and not including a magnetic material. In a cross section perpendicular to an extension direction of the coil wiring line, a top surface thickness of a part of the insulating coating film covering the top surface of the coil wiring line and a side surface thickness of parts of the insulating coating film covering side surfaces of the coil wiring line are less than or equal to 10 μm, and a corner thickness of parts of the insulating coating film that cover corners of the coil wiring line interposed between the top surface and the side surfaces is at least half of the top surface thickness and/or the side surface thickness.

Inductor component

In an inductor component, an inductor wire is in an element body and extends on a virtual flat plane passing inside the element body. A wire main body of the inductor wire has an oblong rectangular shape elongated in a length direction in the top view, and thus, a wire width perpendicular to the extending direction is constant. From each edge of the wire main body in a width direction, protrusions having an oblong rectangular shape in the top view protrude and extend, from a center of the wire main body in the extending direction of the wire main body, in a direction perpendicular to the extending direction, on both sides in the width direction of the wire main body, with the extending direction sandwiched between the protrusions. An area ratio of a protrusion area of the protrusions to an area of the wire main body is within 7.2%.

In an inductor component, an inductor wiring is provided inside an element body. The inductor wiring includes a wiring main body and a skirt portion adjacent to the wiring main body in a height direction of the inductor wiring. A dimension in a height direction in the wiring main body is larger than a dimension in the height direction in the skirt portion. A dimension of the skirt portion in a width direction in the inductor wiring increases as a distance from the wiring main body in the height direction increases. A dimension in the width direction of a distal end of the skirt portion is larger than a dimension in the width direction of the wiring main body.

An inductor component includes a base body, a first coil line and a second coil line, a first substantially columnar line and a second substantially columnar line, and a third substantially columnar line and a fourth substantially columnar line. The first substantially columnar line is located closer to the third substantially columnar line than the fourth substantially columnar line. A minimum distance X1 between the first substantially columnar line and the third substantially columnar line is shorter than a minimum distance Y between a first portion of the first coil line and a second portion of the second coil line.
