Film formed from a polyethylene composition having a density of 948-956 kg/m, a high load melt index HLMI of 7-15 and a melt storage modulus G' at a dynamic frequency where the loss modulus G&#x2033;=3000 Pa. G&#x2032;(G&#x2033;=3000) of 1400-1800 Pa. The composition has a value of Mz/G&#x2032;(G&#x2033;=3000) of at least 900 DA/PA, where Mz is z-average molecular weight.

Film composition

A polyethylene composition is disclosed which comprises from 45 to 55 wt % of an ethylene polymer (A) having a density of at least 968 kg/m, and from 55 to 45 wt % of an ethylene polymer (B) having a density of 920 to 955 kg/m, wherein the composition has a density of 952 to 961 kg/m, a high load melt index HLMI of 18-28 g/10 min, a ratio of HLMI/ML of 80-150, and a melt elastic modulus G' (G&#x2033;=3000) of 1200-1600 Pa, where HLMI and MLare measured according to ISO1133 at a temperature of 190&#xb0; C. under loads of 21.6 kg and 2.16 kg respectively.

A polymer composition, especially used for manufacturing screw caps intended for drinks bottles, which are easy to unscrew and at the same time avoid transmitting a taste and/or a smell to the drinks contained in the bottles. The composition includes (1) a polymer, except a polymer based on a conjugated diene, (2) at least one stabilizer and (3) at least one additive in an amount form 0.01 to 1% by weight, chosen from (a) natural, modified or refined, lignite waxes or montan waxes, (b) polyolefin-based or paraffin-based polar waxes, and (c) refractory or metal oxides grafted by polar organic compounds.
