Aspects of the disclosure relate to generating or updating an access point model. The model may be generated based in part on access point model data, e.g., collected scan information from devices that travel through an indoor space. The wireless access point model may include an indoor map of a location or building. At some point, it may be determined that the access point model data may not meet a predetermined quality threshold. For example, the data may be outdated or inaccurate. A request is generated and transmitted to a client device within a predetermined distance of the access point associated with the access point model. In response to the request, the device travels to the indoor space associated with the access point to collect scan information. The scan information is used to update or otherwise modify the access point model.

System and method for updating an access point model

Custom ad content and ad contact information are identified, for example, received from an advertiser. Input is received selecting to include at least a portion of the ad contact information as unified ad contact information within a print ad including the custom ad content. Further input is received selecting to activate one or more tracking mechanisms associated with the portion of ad contact information. The print ad including the custom ad content and the portion of ad contact information is provided to a publisher. An effectiveness of the ad contact information included in the portion is tracked. The effectiveness of the print ad is reported.

Tracking response to advertisements

Methods, systems, and apparatus for evaluating an advertisement. In one aspect, a method includes receiving an electronic file comprising an advertisement; receiving one or more ad space parameters associated with a publication; comparing one or more attributes of the advertisement with the one or more ad space parameters; generating results based on the comparison of the one or more attributes of the advertisement with the one or more ad space parameters; determining whether to accept the advertisement for publication based on the generated results; and altering at least one of the one or more attributes of an unaccepted advertisement such that it conforms with a corresponding ad space parameter.

Automated mechanical approval of advertisement copy

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for minimizing ad production costs for print advertisers. In one aspect, a method includes receiving parameters associated with one or more publications; receiving input defining one or more ads; grouping the one or more publications based on the received parameters to form a plurality of groups, wherein a quantity of groups in the plurality of groups is based on the received input; determining an optimal ad space size for each of the plurality of groups; and generating the one or more ads, wherein each ad is defined by the optimal ad space size of one or more of the plurality of groups.
