A quick connector coupling for making a severable connection with a male member in a fluid line includes a connector body having a through bore for receiving the male member having a tubular shape sized to extend into the through bore of the connector body, a retainer releasably securing the male member within the connector body, and a verifier including at least one arm extending outside the connector body. Further, the verifier is coupled to the connector body and is moved to a latched position from an unlatched position when the male member is securely connected with the connector body. The connector body includes at least one verification element, which is at least partially covered by the at least one arm extending from the verifier in the unlatched position. The verification element of the connector body is uncovered and readable when the verifier is moved to the latched position.

Quick connector with verification

A coupling connector has a coupling body as well as a plug lock. The plug lock comprises a retainer and a verifier, wherein the plug lock can be inserted into the coupling body in a radial direction. The verifier has two legs and a back, wherein the ends of the legs facing away from the back are allocated to a bottom of the coupling body. If a coupling plug is inserted into the coupling connector, the plug lock is automatically transferred from a disengaged position into an engaged position. The coupling connector is designed in such a way that bottom-side ends of the legs retain their distance to each other while being deflected by the coupling plug.

Coupling connector with automatically activated retainer

A coupling bushing includes a bushing body and a retainer for locking a coupling plug into the bushing body. The bushing body has a connecting section and a coupling section, wherein the connecting section and the coupling section are fluidically connected with each other via an inner channel. A bushing valve is arranged in the inner channel (), wherein the bushing valve () comprises a valve holder, an axially movable valve body and a valve seat. The retainer has at least one latching element, wherein the at least one latching element has a resiliently elastic design. The at least one latching element is designed to engage with a coupling plug.

A quick connector for connection to a complementary counterpart comprises a coupling piece and a retainer for a section of a fluid having a coupling center axis defining an axial direction AD, a radial direction RD and a circumferential direction CD. The retainer is allocated to the coupling end, wherein the retainer has at least one retaining element for retaining the counterpart and at least one actuating element for opening the retainer for pulling the counterpart out of the coupling piece. The coupling piece comprises a first flange at the coupling end, wherein the first flange has a flange opening so as to insert a tool into the flange opening so that the tool can exert a force on the retainer and the actuating element, respectively. The flange opening has an outer border, wherein the outer border lies in radial direction RD outward of the flange opening.

Quick connector with tool release

A connector for connecting two fluid-conducting elements, in particular for connecting two motor vehicle pipelines, with a female plug-in part and a male plug-in part that can be plugged into the female plug-in part. The male plug-in part can be fixed on the female plug-in part via at least one fixing element. At least one indicator element is provided, which indicates the properly or completely fixed state of the male plug-in part which has been reached via the fixing element. When the male plug-in part is inserted into the female plug-in part, the indicator element is displaced outward in the radial direction. A radial outer position of the indicator element shows the properly fixed state of the male plug-in part on the female plug-in part.

Connector

A connector for connecting two fluid-conducting elements, with a female plug-in part and a male plug-in part that can be inserted into the female plug-in part, wherein a retainer is hooked up to the female plug-in part, and can be used to fix the male plug-in part to the female plug-in part. The female plug-in part has at least one verification element, in particular in the form of a code, which in the unfixed state is unreadable or incomplete.

Connector for connecting two fluid-conducting elements

Quick connector having a coupling body and a multifunctional part with a retention unit and an indicator. The coupling body includes a head portion at one end and a plug-in portion at the other end, the plug-in portion configured for attaching to a first tube, the head portion having an axial opening for introduction of a counterpart with a circumferential collar. The head portion has at least one radial opening for inserting the multifunctional part, the multifunctional part having a back for manual operation for the purpose of being inserted into the coupling body. The retention unit has two retention legs, and the indicator has two indicator limbs movable independently of the retention legs when inserting the circumferential collar. The indicator limbs and the coupling body are configured so that the indicator can be transferred from a partially inserted preassembly position to a fully inserted assembly position via movement of the indicator limbs.

Quick connector with an indicator

A connector for connection between two fluid-conveying elements, in particular for connection between two motor vehicle pipes, with a female plug-in part and a male plug-in part which is insertable into the female plug-in part. A retainer is connected to the female plug-in part, the retainer allowing the male plug-in part to be fixed, in the inserted state, to the female plug-in part. The retainer may be pivoted from an open position to a fixing position&#x2014;and vice versa&#x2014;about a pivot axis arranged in the region of the outer surface of the female plug-in part.

Connector for connection between two fluid-conveying elements

A tubing for a fluid medium of motor vehicles, in particular for an aqueous urea solution, comprises a tube, at least one heating wire, and a plug arranged on a tube end of the tube. The plug has a plug shank and a housing which surrounds the tube end and the heating wire. The plug shank comprises a latching means, preferably a collar, for latching in a connector. The tube has an inner tube and a contact element, wherein the heating wire is arranged between the inner tube and the contact element. The contact element brings the heating wire into contact with the inner tube, and the housing partially surrounds the contact element. A first segment of the heating wire runs on the tube end between the contact element and the inner tube, wherein a second segment of the heating wire runs between the contact element and the housing.

Heated tubing with plug, and a method for operating this tubing

A connector includes a connection part formed with two connection ends, an assembly aid and an encapsulation. The inner channel of the connection part connects the connection ends to each other for the purpose of the passage of a fluid medium. The connection part has a middle section between the connection ends, and the assembly aid is arranged at least in a partial region of the middle section on the outside of the connection part. A heating means is arranged on the assembly aid, and the encapsulation covers at least a portion of the heating means. Further, the assembly aid is arranged on the connection part by means of force-fitting.

Connector comprising assembly aid and method for producing said connector

A tubing for a fluid medium of motor vehicles, particularly for an aqueous urea solution, comprises a tube and a connector arranged on one tube end of the tube. The connector has a connecting part, a heating wire, and a housing which encloses the connecting part and the heating wire. The connecting part comprises a retaining element for an engaging connection of a plug that can be plugged into the connecting part. The heating wire extends at least from the connecting end associated with the tube end into the intermediate section, wherein at least along the intermediate section of the connecting part, the connector is preferably free of alignment elements arranged in or on the connecting part and used for aligning the heating wire.

Tubing comprising a connector as well as a method for operating said tubing

A connector for a fluid medium to be conditioned, wherein an internal pipe is provided for the fluid medium to be conditioned and at least one external pipe for a fluid conditioning medium. The internal pipe is encompassed by the external pipe and runs substantially parallel to the external pipe. At least one conducting channel is arranged between the internal pipe and the external pipe for the fluid conditioning medium or for the fluid medium to be conditioned. In one form the connector is made by injection molding.

Connector assembly, and/or motor-vehicle connector assembly, with at least one connector and at least one media line connected to the connector. The media line is electrically heated, a heat-conducting element being arranged in the transition region between connector and media line. The heat-conducting element extends with a first heat-conducting section into the media line and with a second heat-conducting section into the connector. By means of the electric heating of the media line, the heat-conducting element is heated, and/or indirectly heated, and in particular is heated and/or indirectly heated as far as the region of the connector.

Connector assembly with at least one connector and at least one media line

A quick connector for making a releasable connection in a fluid line with a connector body, a male member, a retainer and a verification element. The connector body comprises a through bore, wherein the male member introduced into the through bore is releasably fixable in the through bore by the retainer. The retainer comprises a ring and the verification element has an annular body. The annular body of the verification element can be displaced in an axial direction with respect to the through bore from an initial open position to a verification position when the male member is secured by the retainer in the through bore to place the verification element in a verification and locked position. In one form, the retainer includes lifting arms pivotably attached within coupling openings which cooperate with the coupling projections of the verification element to permit axial translation of the verification element to the verification position when the male member is fully inserted into the through bore.

Quick connector

A coupling, for a fluid line, having a retainer and a coupling body defining a throughbore extending from an inlet opening at a male member reception end which functionally receives a male member. The retainer has a crossbar, with two spaced retainer legs, and at least one locking arm. The retainer is mounted in a moveable manner to the coupling body in radial direction in relation to the throughbore. In a starting position when the male member is not or not fully inserted into the coupling body, one free end of a retainer leg rests upon a blocking surface on the coupling body blocking the retainer from shifting into a locking position, whereby the crossbar is in the starting position, protruding out of the coupling body. At least one free end of a retainer leg is positioned in a receptacle slot in the coupling body when the male member is functionally received into the coupling body and the retainer is shifted into a locking position, whereby the crossbar is essentially positioned in a crossbar receptacle of the coupling body in order to indicate the mounted state. The locking arm features a locking element, which in the starting position, interacts with a complementary locking element on the coupling body securing the retainer releasably within the coupling body.
