The polymeric compounds having isocyanate-reactive groups (b) are a polyesterol (b1) obtainable by polycondensation of an acid component with an alcohol component. The acid component includes malonic acid and/or derivatives thereof and the alcohol component includes an aliphatic dialcohol having 4 to 12 carbon atoms. The present disclosure further relates to a polyurethane obtainable by such a process and to a method of using in enclosed spaces.
