A vehicle lamp includes a light source, and a reflector which reflects light emitted from the light source to form a low-beam light distribution pattern. The light source includes first and second light emitting elements. The reflector includes a first reflecting surface which reflects light emitted from the first light emitting element to form a first light distribution pattern configuring a part of the low-beam light distribution pattern, and a second reflecting surface which reflects light emitted from the second light emitting element to form a second light distribution pattern for enhancing brightness of a lower vicinity region of a cut-off line on an oncoming vehicle lane side. The second reflecting surface is arranged in a surface normal direction of a light emitting surface of the second light emitting element on a front side of the first reflecting surface.

Vehicle lamp

A vehicle lamp includes a projection lens, a first light emitting chip and a second light emitting chip disposed on left and right sides, and a reflector which reflects light toward the projection lens. The reflector includes a reflecting surface which includes a left rear area, a right rear area, a left front area, and a right front area. The left rear area and the right front area reflect light emitted from the first light emitting chip to converge to a rear focal point of the projection lens at a higher convergence degree than light emitted from the second light emitting chip. The vehicle lamp of the present disclosure includes a substrate, a heat dissipating member, a reflector, and a fastening member. The reflector includes a boss portion that protrudes toward the heat dissipating member side and includes a fastening hole. The substrate includes a first opening. The heat dissipating member is in contact with the substrate to be thermally conductive with the substrate and includes a first portion that includes a second opening, a second portion that is more spaced apart from the reflector than the first portion to include an insertion hole and a fastening seat surface, and a connecting portion that connects the first portion and the second portion to each other. The boss portion passes through the first opening and the second opening and abuts to the second portion such that the fastening hole and the insertion hole overlap with each other.

A lamp unit has a first light source, a second light source which is illuminated when the first light source is turned off, and a projection lens having a first entering surface which is associated with a first focal point and a second entering surface which is associated with a second focal point. Light emitted from the first light source is incident on the first entering surface and passes through the projection lens. The second light source is disposed between the first light source and the projection lens in a position through which light emitted from the first light source to reach the first entering surface does not pass. Light emitted from the second light source is incident on the second entering surface and passes through the projection lens.

Lamp unit

A reflector configured to receive and reflect illumination from an illumination device across a projector lens of a vehicle headlight assembly. The reflector includes a reflection surface, a curved edge adjacent to the reflection surface and defining a lower illumination aperture, and a wall member extending across the lower illumination aperture to define a gap portion between the wall member and the curved edge. The wall member is configured to reduce illumination reflected from the reflection surface by blocking an amount of illumination passing through the lower illumination aperture.

Disclosed is a vehicular headlamp including: a basic lamp unit configured to form a main light distribution pattern that is controlled in light distribution so as to satisfy illuminance requirements at a plurality of predetermined sites in a low beam light distribution pattern which is projected on a vertical virtual screen positioned in front of a vehicle; and a plurality of additional lamp units controlled in light distribution so as to irradiate light to any one of left and right diffusion regions adjacent to the main light distribution pattern. The low beam light distribution pattern is formed on the vertical virtual screen by combining the basic lamp unit and the plurality of additional lamp units.

Vehicular headlamp

A lighting unit includes a first light source, a second light source, a projection lens, a first reflector that reflects light from the first light source, a second reflector that reflects light from the second light source, a shade section, and a reflecting section. The shade section is movable between a first position at which at least a part of the light from the second reflector is shielded and a second position which is spaced apart from the first position. The reflecting section reflects a part of the light reflected from the second reflector when the shade section is at the first position.
