Provided is a syringe cap including a projection extending in the circumferential direction of a cap body, wherein the projection includes an apex located radially outward of the cap body from the outer circumferential surface of the cap body, a first inclined surface having a starting end located at the apex and having a terminal end located at a position on the side closer to the proximal end of the cap body than the starting end is, and a second inclined surface having a starting end located at the apex and on the outer circumferential surface of the cap body having a terminal end located at a position on the side closer to the distal end of the cap body than the starting end is, on the outer circumferential surface of the cap body, and the shortest distance from the starting end to the terminal end of the first inclined surface is smaller than the shortest distance from the starting end to the terminal end of the second inclined surface.

Syringe cap, syringe with needle, and prefilled syringe formulation

A syringe and a syringe set are provided. The syringe can be readily distinguished from other syringes only by viewing a tip of the syringe. The syringe includes a tip provided at an end of a barrel body to be filled with a medicine and having an outer diameter of 4.315 mm to 6 mm, a peripheral wall provided around the tip concentrically with the tip, and a helical rib formed on an inner the of the peripheral wall or an outer face of the tip.

An object is to provide a syringe that is capable of preventing a cap from being mounted to a syringe body at an oblique angle. The cap includes an elastic cylindrical body for receiving an injection needle therein and sealing a holding part, and an external cylindrical body for covering the circumference of the elastic cylindrical body and holding the elastic cylindrical body in such a manner as to prevent movement of the elastic cylindrical body. The external cylindrical body includes an opening part having a dimension configured to be larger than the holding part of the syringe body, and a guide part that guides the injection needle toward a certain direction by coming into contact with a part of the syringe body when the injection needle is received inside the elastic cylindrical body.

A barrel with a cap, a pre-filled syringe, and a cap with a connector that accommodate connection-receiving bodies of the Luer lock type and of the slip-in type, are provided. Some versions include: a connector () detachably coupled to a cap () so as to be separated from the barrel () together with the cap () when the connector () is located at an initial position where the connector () is attached to a barrel () via the cap (); and a connector-side engaging part () that engages a barrel-side engaging part () of the barrel () when the connector () is located at an attached position that is closer to a proximal end in an axial direction of the barrel () than the initial position, allowing the connector () to remain attached to the barrel () by being detached from the cap () separated from a nozzle ().

The syringeincludes a generally cylindrical barrel, a push memberand a plug, both of which are disposed to fit the inner side surfaceof the barreland slidably on the inner side surface. When the push memberslides in the direction indicated by Arrow A, the plugcomes under pressure from the side on the open end. Multi-chambered syringe

A plunger for being inserted in a tubular barrel in an axially movable manner includes a plunger body having a distal end positioned within the barrel and a proximal end positioned outside of the barrel, and a seal member disposed on the distal end of the plunger body. The seal member has a base portion extending from the plunger body towards the distal end of the barrel, and a flange portion radially outwardly extending from the base portion and having a peripheral edge contacting an inner circumference of the barrel so as to define an accommodation space within the barrel. The flange portion is elastically deformed to be brought into an elastically deformed state by means of reaction force from a material accommodated within the accommodation space when the seal member is slid towards the distal end of the barrel by means of pressing force applied onto the plunger body so as to force the material out of the accommodation space, and presses the plunger body back towards the proximal end of the barrel by means of self-restoring force of the flange portion when the pressing force is released from the plunger body.
