Various embodiments of the disclosure relate to an electronic device for determining a location, and an operating method thereof. The electronic device may include a communication circuit, a memory, and at least one processor. The memory may store instructions, when executed, causing the processor to determine a visiting area of the electronic device based on at least one signal received through the communication circuit, acquire information on a plurality of places corresponding to the visiting area, acquire place-related information based on at least one of usage information of the electronic device and information stored in the memory, and determine one place among the plurality of places as a visiting place of the electronic device based on the information on the plurality of places and the place-related information. Other embodiments may also be possible.

Electronic device for determining location and operation method thereof

In an electronic device for providing time information and an operation method of the electronic device according to various embodiments, the electronic device includes: a display which displays first time information and second time information; an actuator which outputs vibrations respectively corresponding to the first time information and the second time information; and a processor, wherein the processor can be configured to: check the starting position of a user input in response to sensing the start of the user input on the display; determine, on the basis of the start position, a first region that corresponds to the first time information and a second region that corresponds to the second time information; and control the actuator so that a first vibration that indicates the first time information is output in response to the sensing of a user input in the first region, and a second vibration that indicates the second time information is output in response to the sensing of a user input in the second region.

An electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include: a housing including a portion configured to be attached to/detached from a part of the user's ear; at least one microphone included in the housing and configured to receive a sound from the outside and to detect a direction in which the sound is received; at least one speaker included in the housing; at least one communication circuit included in the housing; a processor included in the housing and electrically connected to the at least one microphone, the at least one speaker, and the at least one communication circuit; and at least one memory included in the housing and electrically connected to the processor. The memory may store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to store data regarding a sound, which has been received through the microphone, in the memory at least temporarily, to output a sound, which corresponds to a sound received from a first direction among the data, through the speaker, and to output a sound, which corresponds to a sound received from a second direction among the data, through the speaker based at least in part on information regarding the state of the electronic device or information acquired from the outside of the electronic device. Besides, various embodiments are possible.

Electronic device and method for controlling operation of electronic device

An electronic device, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: at least one microphone receiving sound from the outside, and configured to detect the direction from which the sound is received; a speaker for outputting the sound; a communication circuit for receiving audio data from an external electronic device; a processor electrically connected to at least one microphone, the speaker, and the communication circuit; and at least one memory electrically connected to the processor. The memory, when operated, can store instructions for enabling the processor to extract the information on the direction, from which the sound is received, from the data related to the sound received through at least one microphone, and to process the data related to the sound outputted through the speaker, on the basis of the information on the direction from which the sound is received. Other examples are possible.
