Provided is an air fryer that includes an inner cooking chamber located within a cooking chamber. The inner cooking chamber has a first opening and a second opening spaced apart from the first opening across the inner cooking chamber. The inner cooking chamber is partly delimited by a second wall extending between the first opening and the second opening. A duct is defined by a space between the first wall and the second wall. The duct provides a fluid connection between the first opening and the second opening. The air fryer also includes a heater for heating the inner cooking chamber, and a fan. The fan receives air from axial directions and moves the air radially. The fan is axially movable relative to the inner cooking chamber such that the air fryer is switchable between a first configuration and a second configuration, and vice versa.

Configurable air fryer and method of operating the same

A radiation grill unit () comprises (i) a food support unit (), (ii) a radiation unit () that includes a reflector () (with reflector opening ()) hosting an IR radiation heater (), wherein the radiation unit () is configured to provide IR radiation () in a direction of the food support unit (), and (iii) a radiation grill unit cavity () configured to host a drip tray (). A radiation unit housing includes a convection channel between (i) a back side of the reflector, opposite a front side that reflects IR radiation in the direction of the food support unit, and (ii) an inner surface of the radiation unit housing. The housing further comprises a lower opening below a lower part edge of the reflector and an upper opening above an upper part edge of the reflector to define a lower end and an upper end, respectively, of the convection channel.

Radiation grill

A radiation grill unit () comprises (i) a food support unit () with bars (), (ii) a radiation unit () that includes a reflector () (with reflector opening ()) hosting an IR radiation heater (), wherein the radiation unit () is configured to provide IR radiation () in a direction of the food support unit (), and (iii) a radiation grill unit cavity () configured to host a drip tray (). The drip tray is configured in the radiation grill unit cavity below a lower part edge of the reflector and out of a line of sight of direct IR radiation from the IR radiation heater. The drip tray further comprises a drip tray face and at least one drip tray reservoir configured at a side edge of the drip tray in a location that does not receive direct IR radiation, and configured to store a lipid comprising liquid.

The invention provides a radiation grill unit () comprising (i) a food support unit (), for instance with bars (), (ii) a radiation unit () comprising a reflector () (with reflector opening ()) hosting an (electrical) IR radiation heater (), wherein the radiation unit () is optionally configured to provide IR radiation () in a direction of the food support unit (), and (iii) a radiation grill unit cavity () configured to host a drip tray () (with edge ()).

A radiation grill unit () comprises (i) a food support unit (), (ii) a radiation unit () that includes a reflector () (with reflector opening ()) hosting an IR radiation heater (), wherein the radiation unit () is configured to provide IR radiation () in a direction of the food support unit (), and (iii) a radiation grill unit cavity () configured to host a drip tray (). The reflector comprises (i) an upper part having a parabolic shape with an upper part edge and (ii) a lower part with a lower part edge, wherein the lower part includes (a) only one face, (b) two faces, or (c) more than two faces, wherein each face includes a straight segment shape.

An epilating device removes hair from a user by pinching, pulling and releasing the hairs. The epilating device has a tweezer portion having an axis and being mounted to rotate about its axis during use, the tweezer portion defining at least one pinching region at its circumference in which hairs may be grasped by tweezer elements. The tweezer portion is mounted in cantilevered fashion by its first end to an attachment portion of a handle. The cantilever arrangement of the tweezer portion allows better access to the tweezer elements, in particular for epilating in areas that may otherwise be difficult to reach.

An epilating device () has a housing () defining a handle () and first and second shoulder portions () forming an open jaw (). A tweezer portion () is mounted in the jaw () for rotation about its axis such that an opening () is formed through the device () from a front side () of the housing () to a rear side () of the housing (), the opening () being bounded by the handle (), the shoulder portions () and the tweezer portion (). A drive mechanism () located within the housing () is arranged to apply rotational motion to rotate the tweezer portion () about the axis. By providing an opening () through the housing () of the epilator () from the front () to the rear side (), collection of hair and debris beneath the tweezer portion () is avoided.
