A direct drive for a printing press with lateral register adjustment includes a rotor and a stator, and a connection for mechanically connecting the drive with a stationary support bearing, wherein the rotor is connectable with shaft of a printing press cylinder with the connection being a torsionally stiff spacer installed directly or indirectly on the outer jacket of drive, which is designed to be elastic in the direction of the motor axis to compensate axial motions of the attachable printing press cylinder shaft.

Direct drive

A magnetic slip clutch has an outer rotor and an inner rotor, one of the rotors includes permanent magnets, and one of the rotors includes slots, and both rotors are located coaxially to one another; the outer rotor is embodied as a hollow cylinder open on one end, which cylinder includes a face-end covering with a central recess, by which the hollow cylinder can be located on a shaft, and the inner rotor is embodied as a solid cylinder, which is located inside the outer rotor, and a shaft can be located in a central recess in the solid cylinder, and a separate shaft is connectable to each rotor, so that the axis of rotation of the two separate shafts is identical, and a torque transmission is possible from one shaft to the other shaft by both rotors.

Magnetic torque limiter

A direct drive without bearings for coupling to a shaft has a housing having a first end face composed of a connection flange with a central recess and a second end face composed of a removable cover diametrically opposed to the connecting flange, a rotor and a stator located coaxially with each other inside the housing, with the stator being fixedly connected with the housing, and locking elements via which the rotor is fixed inside the housing in position in a radial direction, and/or axial direction.

An electrical machine with torque limitation which is only slightly larger structurally than an identical machine without torque limitation and is thus as compact as possible has a stator with windings and a rotor supported movably relative to the stator, recesses distributed over the circumference and extending axially are present on the rotor surface, and a driver, located coaxially relative to the rotor and extending axially, is located in the air gap between the rotor and the stator, and exciter magnets on the upper driver face toward the stator and driver magnets on the inner driver face toward the rotor are located in such a way that upon rotation of the driver, the rotor is likewise capable of being set into rotation as a result of the rotary field generated by the windings and by the driver magnets.

A rotating A.C. synchronous interior permanent magnet machine with concentrated windings is constructed such that each pole on the secondary-side (rotor) is provided with at least one interior axial slot (), with dimensions h(), h() and d (), with h() being the radial material thickness of the secondary side between the air-gap surface of a slot () and the secondary side air-gap surface, h() being the radial thickness of the secondary side between the inner surface of the secondary side and the inner side surface of the at least one slot and d () being the thickness of the secondary side, whereby the ratio (formula I) lies in the range 0.05-0.35.

Interior permanent magnet synchronous machine

A primary part of an electrical induction machine, especially a synchronous motor or a linear motor, includes a plurality of modules which each have teeth situated in a row having at least partially encircling slots, in the slot of each tooth a coil is wound around this tooth, and the coils of a single module are connected to a single phase of a rotary current network. The number of modules in the primary part is equal to the number of current phases or an integral multiple thereof. A single module includes an uneven number of teeth but at least three teeth, and teeth directly adjacent to one another of a single module include coils that have an opposite winding direction, which generates an opposite magnetic field polarity at the teeth. An electrical induction machine, especially a synchronous motor or a linear motor, includes a primary part and a secondary part, working together with the primary part via an air gap, which may have permanent magnets as rotor magnets.

Disclosed is an electric motor comprising a temperature monitoring device which is provided with at least two temperature sensors that have different temperature characteristics and are connected to terminal clamps by means of electrical wires, whereby it is possible in an advantageous manner to connect regulating devices having different temperature sensor input characteristics to the electric motor.

The invention relates to a synchronous AC electric motor with concentrated windings (), whereby one primary side pole is comprised of a series of toothed-modules () with each toothed-module () being connected in the correct electrical phase sequence to a corresponding phase () of the motor electrical supply (). In order to provide a highly optimized concentrated winding motor design applicable equally to either linear or rotating machines, which retains the performance benefits of existing concentrated-winding motors it is proposed that neighboring modules () are wound so as to have alternating polarities, whereby the number of toothed-modules () comprising a primary side pole is exactly equal to twice the number of motor phases (), and that the motor is designed to operate using an air-gap flux component which is harmonic of the fundamental phase current frequency.

Travelling field synchronous AC motor

The invention relates to a primary part () or secondary part () of an electric motor (), having a core () of a magnetically conductive material, which forms slots () for the windings (), and at least one cooling tube (), through which a coolant fluid () can flow, is inserted into the slots () under the windings (). To assure that a primary part () or secondary part () of this kind is comparatively simple to produce and assemble and has increased cooling performance or increased cooling efficiency compared to the prior art, it is proposed that the effective slot cross section has an at least local retaining constriction () relative to the cooling tube (), so that the cooling tube is fixed by the retaining constriction () in its seat in a receptacle region () of the slot (), and the slot cross section in the receptacle region () has a contour () corresponding to the outer contour () of the cooling tube () in such a way that the cooling tube () has a surface contact () extending substantially over its length with the inner wall () of the receptacle region (), the surface contact being at least local with respect to its outer circumference ().
