A recliner assembly for a vehicular seat of the type including a backrest hingedly connected to a seat base and capable of being reclined. The recliner assembly includes an outer gear and includes an internal teeth arranged circumferentially about an axis A. The assembly also includes an inner gear including at least one tooth engaging member selectively moveable into and out of engagement with the internal teeth of the outer gear. A retainer is attached to the outer gear in order to retain the inner gear from lateral movement along axis A. The retainer is configured for mounting to the outer gear and the inner gear is configured for mounting to at least one of a top plate and a base plate. The retainer, outer gear, and inner gears can be formed from a fine-blanked steel material and simply welded together to improve recliner strength while reducing assembly costs.

The inclination adjustment fitting has a toothed first element and a toothed second element, and the vehicle seat has a first main structural element and a second main structural element. The inclination adjustment fitting has an adjustment mechanism and/or a latching detent for adjusting the inclination of the first main structural element relative to the second main structural element about an axis of rotation. The toothed first element is connected directly to the first main structural element, and/or the toothed second element is connected directly to the second main structural element.

A rail guide that has at least one rail pair consisting of a floor rail () and a seat rail (). The seat rail () has connectors () for fastening a seat frame to be arranged above the rail pair. The rails can be moved relative to each other in a longitudinal direction along a movement path (). The floor rail () and the seat rail () are curved by the same circular radius of curvature () that ranges between 1,500 and 3,000 mm, in particular between 1,800 and 2,500 mm. The center point of curvature () is on the side of the rail pair facing away from the seat frame. The rail guide is a longitudinal adjustment device having a stationary spindle () and an associated spindle nut () that is longitudinally movable thereon, the spindle () being curved at the same circular radius of curvature (). Also described is a suitable method for producing said curved rails by at least one stamping mold () or by bending strips ().

An adjusting device for a vehicle component includes a first fitting part arranged on an axis of rotation and a second fitting part arranged on the axis of rotation. The relative position of the first fitting part and the second fitting part with respect to each other is adjustable. The adjusting device also includes an eccentric arranged on and rotatable about the axis of rotation and a plurality of first rotating members arranged concentrically about the eccentric. The first rotating members are configured to roll along the first fitting part. The adjusting device further includes a plurality of subcomponents that each include a first fitting-part element of the first fitting part and a second fitting-part element of the second fitting part. The plurality of subcomponents are arranged substantially symmetrically with respect to a plane of symmetry that extends at right angles to the axis of rotation.
