Adjustment device for tiltable sitting furniture with a stand (1) and a seat board (9) pivoting at the front side of the stand, as well as a driving device (16) arranged to convey the seat board (9) its tilt motion, where the seat board (9) at the front is pivotally arranged at the front edge of a fork (7) articulatedly suspended via arms (5) at the front part of the stand, which fork is in rear the part of the stand and at the rear is guided slidably against a slide rail (10), and the driving device (16) of which via a pressure arm (12) pivotally arranged at the stand transfers motion to the seat board, in addition to the pressure arm (12) is pivotally connected a control bar (19) between its pivot point and its end with the seat board, which control bar during work of the driving device (16) with its front part first is brought to bearing on a position adjustable backing roller (21) connected to the arms (5) of the fork (7) and subsequently with its rear part (23) in different positions adjustable against a rear cross bar (4b) acting as counter surface, whereupon the movement surpasses to a pure tilt about the pivot axis (8) of the seat board. Setting device for a tiltable armchair

Compressed refrigerant from a heat pump compressor flows through a first of three heat exchanger passages that are in mutual heat transfer relationship. Radiator water from a reservoir flows through a second of those passages and back to the reservoir in a heat exchange circuit. A radiator circuit that has at least one radiator is connected with the reservoir in parallel with the heat exchange circuit. Through the third passage a source of unheated tap water is communicated with a tap system from which heated tap water can be drawn, flow through that third passage being counter to refrigerant flow in the first passage. In the heat exchange circuit radiator water can be pumped through the second passage counter to refrigerant flow to be heated or counter to tap water flow for tap water heating. A separate pump in the radiator circuit circulates radiator water through it as needed to meet heat demands at the radiator. For supplemental heating another heat source can operate in a third radiator water circuit that is connected with the reservoir in parallel with the heat exchange circuit and the radiator circuit.

Apparatus for production of hot tap water

A tertiary heat exchanger having three sets of adjacent ducting, two stacked within the third, all of which carrying heat exchange mediums so that the heat carried by one medium in any set of a ducting is efficiently transferred to the other two. Two of the three sets of ducting are tubing and this tubing is spirally coiled in a container within the third set of ducting. The two sets of tubing are in alternating layers and the fluid flow of the heat exchange mediums are in opposite directions in each adjacent layer of the tubing. Outlet channels are provided at various points along the helical path of a ducting so as to alter the effective length of a ducting.

Tertiary heat exchanger

A method of manufacturing a compound plate by explosion-welding, the compound plate being intended for package-rolling. The plating material is smaller in area than the base material so that an edge is formed around the periphery of the base material, this free edge surface being protected by the attachment of metal strips, after which an explosive charge, the area of which is at least as great as that of the base material, is placed on top of the plating material and detonated.

Method of explosion-welding rolling billets intended for package rolling

A method of joining an inner metal pipe with a surrounding outer metal pipe comprising placing inside the inner pipe a contact body which prevents change of the inside diameter of the inner pipe and detonating an explosive around the outer pipe so that the inner surface of the outer pipe is metallurgically joined to the outer surface of the inner pipe. The contact body is a rigid body made of salt and the contact body is removed after the pipes are joined by dissolving the contact body in a fluid in which the salt is soluable.
