An access control system and a method performed therein, for handling access to an access-restricted physical resource. The method comprises, by means of a first credential reader, receiving an initiating access request credential initiating a request to give one or more visitors access to a first access-restricted physical resource. The method further comprises, by means of the first credential reader, receiving a visitor credential for each visitor for which access is requested, and, by means of a second credential reader, receiving a finalising access request credential finalising the request to give the one or more visitors access. Furthermore, the method comprises, by means of a first resource controller, allowing a visitor to access the first access-restricted physical resource upon presenting the visitor's visitor credential to the first credential reader.

A method for training an alarm system to classify audio of an event, wherein the alarm system is connected to a neural network trained to classify audio as an event type, the method comprising the steps of: receiving audio recorded during a first period of time; transmitting the audio to an external unit; receiving data from the external unit indicating a sub-period of time of the audio and data indicating an event type of the indicated sub-period of time of the audio; and re-training the neural network by inputting a sub-period of the audio corresponding to the indicated sub-period of time of the audio and using the indicated event type as a correct classification of the sub-period of the audio.

Method, software, and device for training an alarm system to classify audio of an event

The present application concerns access control for controlling unlocking of a door () at the presentation of credentials () at the door. A credentials relay unit () and a lock controller () are mounted in the vicinity of the door. The credentials relay unit transmits received credentials to a pre-configured, first network address, and in addition transmits a wake-up signal () to the lock controller, which upon receipt of the wake-up signal will transmit a request () for instructions to a pre-configured, second network address. In response to the request, the lock controller receives unlocking or no-action instructions (), and in case unlocking instructions are received, the lock controller transmits an unlocking signal ().

Door access control

The present invention relates to an emergency notification system where indicators are mounted on or in a building in such a way that optical or thermal signals emitted from the indicators form a time-variant indication detectable outside the building of an emergency event taking place inside the building. Sensors detecting a predetermined sound are mounted inside the building and are each connected to a nearby indicator. When a sensor makes a detection, it sends event information to its associated indicator which will prompt the indicator to emit a first optical or thermal signal. Based on a signal from a timer connected to the indicator, a property of the first signal will change after a certain time has passed, thereby providing the time-variant indication.

Emergency notification system

A method and assembly produce color images of a scene captured by an image sensor exposed to visible light as well as IR radiation. A first image is captured with a first proportion of an iris aperture covered by an IR-cut filter. A first amount of radiation captured in the first image is determined and a second image captured with a second proportion of the iris covered by the IR-cut filter. A second amount of radiation captured in the second image is determined and a proportion of IR radiation is calculated in the scene based on the first amount of light, the second amount of light, the first IR-cut filter proportion, and the second IR-cut filter proportion. An IR contribution is removed from an image by using the calculated proportion of IR radiation.

Method for enhancing color images, and an assembly performing such method

A method for a fast color saturation control of digital color images using one color saturation factor has been achieved. Said method can be performed in any color space having three primaries as e.g. the R-G-B or in the CMY color space without the requirement to convert all the pixels of said color image into another color space as e.g. HSI to perform the color saturation control. Thus a significant computational effort for the conversion of the pixels from one color space into another and back can be avoided. Saving computational effort saves time and reduces the electrical power consumption. Right after the color saturation control process the corrected images can be viewed, if the colors are not satisfactory the process can be easily repeated using a modified color saturation factor. Said method can be used for new pictures taken by a digital camera as well as for downloaded pictures from any source. Additionally said method of color saturation control can be combined with a color correction process.

Method for fast color saturation control

A method and a system for an automatic white balancing of color images being exposed to different illuminants have been achieved. The color information from the sensor color channels is measured and averaged over all pixels belonging to each of the colors of the color array used. The result is equivalent to what color a 1-pixel camera would see if pointed to the same scene. From this 'statistical pixel' the ratios of the colors involved are calculated. Pictures taken in different illuminants as e.g. daylight, fluorescent light or incandescent light can then be separated due to their location in different categories in a space defined by said ratios of the colors involved. Each category has predefined white balance factors, which are applied to the image now.
