A three-dimensional printing method can include iteratively applying polymer build material as individual layers; based on a three-dimensional object model, selectively jetting an electromagnetic radiation absorber and a translucency-modulating plasticizer onto individual layers of the polymer build material; and exposing the powder bed to electromagnetic energy to selectively fuse portions of individual layers of the polymer build material together to form a three-dimensional object. The polymer build material can include from about 60 wt % to 100 wt % polymeric particles having an average particle size from about 10 ?m to about 150 ?m and a degree of crystallinity from about 2% to about 60%, to a powder bed. At the locations where the polymer build material includes jetted translucency-modulating plasticizer, the three-dimensional object can exhibit an optical transmittance from about 5% to about 80%.

An example system includes an object and a support frame supporting the object. The support frame constrains movement of the object relative to the support frame, and the support frame includes at least one of a cage or a shackle to non-rigidly constrain movement of at least a part of the object.

Product framing

A device includes a material dispenser and a fluid dispenser. The material dispenser is to dispense a build material layer-by-layer, to at least partially additively form a first 3D object. The fluid dispenser is to dispense at least one fluid agent at selectable exterior voxel locations of the respective layers to at least partially define an external surface of the first 3D object as a first color to represent a first non-color material property of at least a first portion of the first 3D object. The selection of the first color is independent of characteristics of the first non-color material property.

A system for presenting a soft-proof of a three-dimensional (3D) printed part may include a processor, and a memory device communicatively coupled to the processor. The system may also include a communication link to support communication with a 3D printing device, and computer usable program code to, when executed by the processor, retrieve data from the 3D printing device defining at least one capability of the 3D printing device that affects an appearance of a part when printed. The system may also include an application programming interface (API) to provide data defining generation of a soft-proof of the part based on the at least one capability of the 3D printing device, the soft-proof of the part depicting characteristics of the part as the part appears as printed.

In an example, a method includes receiving, at a processor, a plurality of property parameter sets representing attainable property combinations in additive manufacturing and being associated with print material description. A constraint of a first property of the property parameter sets may also be received and a hull of a property mapping resource for use in determining additive manufacturing instructions for generating an object in which the first property meets the received constraint may be determined.

According to an example, an apparatus may include a processor and a memory on which is stored instructions that are to cause the processor to identify features for a three-dimensional (3D) indicator object to be fabricated by a 3D fabricating device, in which the identified features define a shape and a pattern of colors for the 3D indicator object. The instructions may also cause the processor to instruct the 3D fabricating device to fabricate the 3D indicator object to have the identified features, in which the 3D indicator object has a shape having a plurality of surfaces on which a plurality of colors are arranged in a certain pattern as defined by the identified features, and in which each of the plurality of surfaces has the same certain pattern of the plurality of colors and determine properties of the fabricated 3D indicator object.

Examples analyze three-dimensional printing specifications associated with a three-dimensional printing device to determine test angles for a test object and test surfaces corresponding to the test angles for the test object. Examples generate the test object for color calibration for the three-dimensional printing device based at least in part on the test angles and test surfaces that are configured with at least one test color.

In one example in accordance with the present disclosure a three-dimensional illumination chart is described. The chart includes a substrate divided into a number of portions. Each portion includes a raised relief pattern disposed thereon having a relief angle relative to a reference line. Each relief angle of the raised relief patterns of the number of portions is different from other relief angles of other raised relief patterns of other of the number of portions.

In one example, a method comprises receiving data representing a first property of a three-dimensional object generated by a print apparatus, the data having been determined by measurement of the object. A difference between the data representing a first property and predetermined data may be determined, and, based on the difference, an estimate of a second property of the object may be determined.

Print-ready data is caused to be generated based on the input content, the job definition, and the ticket template. A system including a memory to store instructions and initial color representations and a processor to execute the instructions in the memory to reference a database having a set of lexical color classifiers, transform each of at least a pair of initial color representations to color values associated with the set of lexical color classifiers, and generate a relative similarity measure related to the at least a pair of initial color representations based on the color values associated with the set of lexical color classifiers.

Processing of a digital image includes using a machine to convert numerical representations of colors in the digital image to lexical representations of the colors. The lexical representations may be used for image processing such as color reproduction. Examples of lexical-based color reproduction include, without limitation, using the lexical representations to perform color correction of an image display device, identifying potential problems with color shifts, generating statistics about lexical boundary crossings, and developing image processing pipelines.

A soft proof system includes a display module and a manager. The display module displays a visual representation of a print product, and a color array expressing a tolerance range of a color component of the visual representation and a target color within the range. Via the manager, a visualization function produces the visual representation and the color array according to a soft proof array. A tolerance selection function, associated with the display module, enables selection of the tolerance range for at least a portion of the print product, wherein the selection is expressed on the display in the visual representation and in the color array.

To generate a proof of a printable item, a data structure is provided that maps a set of spot colors into a respective set of color values based on measurement data provided by a measurement device of colors printed by a printing system from the spot colors.
