A sealing element that includes a hollow body of metallic material and first and second male sealing members formed at a respective end of the body. The respective male sealing member has an external spherical contact surface designed for mating with a corresponding internal conical contact surface of a female sealing member so as to form a fluid-tight seal between the male sealing member and the female sealing member when their contact surfaces are pressed against each other. At least two intermediate members are arranged in series in the body between the first and second male sealing members. An electrical switching device including at least one ingoing conductor at least a first and a second outgoing conductor, and an arrangement for connecting and disconnecting the conductors by means of an axial movement. The arrangement includes an axially movable element, which is movable between a first and a second position. The device is arranged such that when the axially movable element is in the first position, the ingoing conductor and the first outgoing conductor are electrically connected, and the ingoing conductor and the second outgoing conductor are disconnected. When the axially movable element is in the second position, the ingoing conductor and the first outgoing conductor are disconnected, and the ingoing conductor and the second outgoing conductor are electrically connected.

Switching device

The invention relates to a coupling device including a coupling part provided with a coupling member and having an internal bore extending through the coupling part and its coupling member, wherein the coupling part is provided with a valve, which includes a valve body displaceably arranged inside the internal bore and a spring member acting on the valve body, the valve body being displaceable against the action of the spring member from a first position to a second position. The valve includes a housing fixed inside the internal bore, the housing being provided with a cavity accommodating the spring member and a part of the valve body. The cavity is in fluid communication with an orifice at the end of the valve facing the free end of the coupling member so as to allow the cavity to be in fluid communication with the surroundings via the orifice when the coupling member is out of engagement with a corresponding coupling member.

A coupling arrangement for use in subsea electrical power distribution comprising a first coupling part (), which is provided with a first contact member () arranged in a first contact housing () and an attachment () for a first power conduit, and a second coupling part (), which is provided with a second contact member () arranged in a second contact housing () and an attachment () for a second power conduit to be connected to the first power conduit by means of the coupling arrangement. A contact element () is displaceably arranged in the contact housing () of one of the coupling parts () so as to be displaceable towards the contact member () of the other coupling part (), when the contact housings () are secured to each other, from a first position, in which no electric connection between the contact members () is established by the contact element (), and into a second position, in which the contact element () is establishing electric connection between the contact members.

Coupling arrangement for subsea electrical power distribution

A subsea system for processing a fluid emanating from one or more subsea wells, comprising a fluid processing circuit and a base module () provided with at least one receiver () for receiving an insert module (-) comprising an appliance that forms part of the fluid processing circuit.
