A multi-component fiber includes at least two elongated fiber bodies. A first fiber body consists of a first material including a phase change material and a second fiber body consists of a second material and encloses the first fiber body. The phase change material is non-encapsulated or in raw form and the first material includes a viscosity modifier selected from polyolefines having a density in the range of 890-970 kg/mas measured at room temperature according to ISO 1183-2 and a melt flow rate in the range 0.1-60 g/10 minutes as measured at 190&#xb0; C. with a 21.6 kg weight according to ISO 1133. Further, a textile, a fabric and an absorbent article include the multi-component fiber.

Multi-component fibres

A method of forming an elastic laminate including at least one elastic film and least two nonwoven webs laminated to each of the sides of the elastic film. The elastic film is fed in a machine direction towards a bonding station. The elastic film is stretched in the machine direction at a stretch ratio from 1.5 to 8 times of its original length, thereby forming a stretched film and the stretched film and said at least two nonwoven webs are laminated in the bonding station. The elastic film is stretched in at least two stretching steps before laminating it with the at least two nonwoven webs, wherein between 5 and 25% of the total stretching occurs in the last stretching step before lamination in the bonding station.

Method of forming an elastic laminate

A disposable absorbent article intended to be worn around the waist of a wearer. The article includes a chassis having a front portion, a back portion, and a crotch portion there between, and optionally includes a waistband. A printed tag is arranged on the inner wearer facing side of the chassis in at least one of the front portion, back portion or the waistband. The tag has a Surface roughness or Friction according to Kawabata which differs at least 10% from the Surface roughness or Friction respectively according to Kawabata of the surrounding area of the chassis to which the tag is attached. This enhances the possibilities to localize the tag by the fingertips and thus make it possible for a person with poor eyesight and under bad light conditions to differentiate between the front and back of the article.

Disposable absorbent article comprising a printed tag

A disposable absorbent article intended to be worn around the waist of a wearer includes a chassis having a front portion, a back portion, and a crotch portion there between, and optionally a waistband. A printed tag is arranged on the inner wearer facing side of the chassis in at least one of the front portion, back portion, and the waistband. The tag has at least one first area which is fixedly attached to the chassis and at least one second area which is unattached. The first fixedly attached area covers an area of at least 5% of the total area of the tag and the second unattached area has a length extending along a side edge of the tag of at least 5 mm and a width of at least 1 mm. The tag as described makes it easier to differentiate between the front and back of the article.

An absorbent article, such as a diaper, sanitary napkin, incontinence guard or panty liner, including a fluid-permeable nonwoven topsheet located on the wearer-facing side thereof. The nonwoven topsheet includes a plurality of channels arranged side-by-side. The channels are located within the nonwoven topsheet, whereby gas is allowed to pass into, out of and along the channels, thus providing ventilation of the absorbent article.
