The present invention relates to an electrode for a secondary battery in which a first electrode material mixture layer including a first negative electrode active material, a first conductive agent, and a first binder is formed on a current collector, and a second electrode material mixture layer including a second negative electrode active material, a second conductive agent, and a second binder is formed on the first electrode material mixture layer, wherein the first negative electrode active material and the second negative electrode active material each include at least one selected from the group consisting of natural graphite and artificial graphite, and when the electrode is analyzed by a shear strength analysis method, a ratio of a maximum value (σ) to a minimum value (σ) in a simplified shear strength (σ) profile is 1.7 or less.
