A hydraulic unit of an electronic control brake system is disclosed. The hydraulic unit of the electronic control brake system includes a modulator block having a plurality of accommodating bores in which a plurality of valves and pressure sensors coupled to a master cylinder to control braking hydraulic pressure supplied towards vehicle wheels are installed. Passages connecting between the accommodating bores are formed in the modulator block, and the passages are formed to be divided into two layers.

Disclosed herein is a check valve. The check valve installed in a bore of a modulator block having an inlet path and an outlet path and configured to control oil to flow in one direction, the check valve comprising: a valve housing installed in the bore, including an inlet and an outlet configured to respectively communicate with the inlet path and the outlet path, and having an open upper portion; a cap member configured to seal the open upper portion of the valve housing and fixed to the modulator block; a plunger provided to move forward or backward in the valve housing and configured to open or close an internal path between the inlet and the outlet; and a spring provided between the cap member and the plunger and configured to press the plunger to close the internal path.

Check valve

Disclosed is a solenoid valve for a brake system. The solenoid valve includes a valve housing installed in a bore of a modulator block and configured to include an internal flow path, a valve sheet provided at the internal flow path of the valve housing and configured to include an orifice, an armature configured to be slidably moved up and down by a magnet core and to include an opening or closing sphere configured to selectively open or close the orifice, a sleeve configured to accommodate the armature therein and to have one end coupled to the valve housing and the other end at which the magnet core is provided, and a damper guide provided at the internal flow path of the valve housing to come into contact with and surround the armature.

Solenoid valve for brake system

An electric brake system is disclosed. The electric brake system controlling a hydraulic pressure delivered to a wheel cylinder provided at each of wheels according to a pedal effort of a brake pedal, includes a reservoir configured to store oil; a master cylinder including first and second hydraulic ports, each of which is connected to two wheels, and configured to generate a hydraulic pressure by the pedal effort of the brake pedal; a pedal simulator configured to provide a reaction force of the brake pedal by being connected to the master cylinder, and connected to the reservoir; a simulation valve installed at an oil flow path connecting the pedal simulator to the reservoir, or at an oil flow path connecting the master cylinder to the pedal simulator; a bypass flow path branching off from the oil flow path and connected to the reservoir; and a relief valve provided at the bypass flow path and configured to enable oil to flow when the simulation valve operates abnormally.

An electric brake system is disclosed. The electric brake system includes a hydraulic pressure supply device configured to generate hydraulic pressure using a piston that is activated by means of an electrical signal output corresponding to a displacement of a brake pedal, and including a first pressure chamber provided at one side of the piston, which is movably accommodated inside a cylinder block, and connected to one or more wheel cylinders, and a second pressure chamber provided at the other side of the piston and connected to one or more wheel cylinders, a first hydraulic circuit including a first hydraulic flow path communicating with the first pressure chamber, and first and second branching flow paths that branch from the first hydraulic flow path to be connected to two wheel cylinders, respectively, a second hydraulic circuit including a second hydraulic flow path communicating with the second pressure chamber, and third and fourth branching flow paths that branch from the second hydraulic flow path to be connected to two wheel cylinders, respectively, and first to fourth inlet valves configured to control an opening and closing of the first to fourth branching flow paths, respectively.

A leakage inspecting method of an electric brake system, which includes a master cylinder connected to a reservoir, a simulation device having one side connected to the master cylinder to provide a reaction force according to the pedal effort of the brake pedal, a simulation valve provided at a flow path connected to the master cylinder or a flow path connected to the reservoir, a hydraulic pressure supply device operated by an electrical signal of a pedal displacement sensor sensing a displacement of the brake pedal and configured to generate hydraulic pressure, and a hydraulic pressure control unit, comprising: executing an inspection mode for inspecting for a leak of the simulation valve and a sealing member provided inside a chamber of the master cylinder by providing an inspection valve at a flow path connecting the master cylinder to the reservoir, wherein the inspection mode includes: (a1) closing a cut valve provided at a flow path connecting the master cylinder to the hydraulic pressure control unit when the inspection valve is open; (b1) pressurizing a piston disposed inside the master cylinder according to the pedal effort of the brake pedal and detecting whether pressure is formed through a pressure sensor; and (c1) determining that a leak does not exist when pressure detected through the pressure sensor satisfies a preset criterion.

Electric brake system and method for leak check of the same

An electric brake system comprising: a master cylinder configured to a reservoir storing oil therein and configured to generate hydraulic pressure according to a pedal effort of a brake pedal; a cut valve installed at a backup flow path connecting the master cylinder to a wheel cylinder; a simulation device including a simulation chamber connected to the master cylinder at a front end of the cut valve to provide a reaction force according to the pedal effort of the brake pedal, a simulation valve provided at a flow path connecting the master cylinder to the simulation chamber; a hydraulic pressure supply device configured to operate in response to an electrical signal of a pedal displacement sensor sensing a displacement of the brake pedal, and a damping member provided at a flow path connecting the hydraulic pressure chamber to the front end of the cut valve, wherein the damping member delivers a pressure pulsation generated in the hydraulic pressure chamber to the brake pedal in an anti-lock brake system (ABS) mode.

An electric brake system is disclosed. The electric brake system includes a hydraulic pressure supply device configured to generate hydraulic pressure using a piston which is operated by means of an electrical signal that is output corresponding to displacement of a brake pedal, and including a first pressure chamber provided at one side of the piston movably accommodated inside a cylinder block and connected to one or more wheel cylinders, and a second pressure chamber provided at the other side of the piston and connected to the one or more wheel cylinders, a first hydraulic flow path configured to communicate with the first pressure chamber, a second hydraulic flow path configured to branch from the first hydraulic flow path, a third hydraulic flow path configured to branch from the first hydraulic flow path, a fourth hydraulic flow path configured to communicate with the second pressure chamber and connected to the third hydraulic flow path, a fifth hydraulic flow path configured to communicate the second hydraulic flow path with the third hydraulic flow path, a first hydraulic circuit including first and second branching flow paths which branch from the second hydraulic flow path and are connected to two wheel cylinders, respectively, and a second hydraulic circuit including third and fourth branching flow paths which branch from the third hydraulic flow path and are connected to two wheel cylinders, respectively.

According to the embodiment of the present disclosure, it provides an inspection valve installed at a flow path connecting a reservoir to a chamber of a master cylinder, comprising: a housing at which a bore is formed and having one side at which an inlet hole is formed; a plunger provided to be movable along the bore of the housing; a seat member configured to close one side of the bore and through which an outlet hole passes; and an elastic member having one side supported by the plunger and the other side supported by the seat member, wherein the plunger is provided to block the outlet hole when a hydraulic pressure flowing in through the inlet hole is greater than an elastic force of the elastic member. Also, according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, it provides an inspection valve installed at a bypass flow path connecting a front side of a check valve to a rear side thereof at a reservoir flow path connecting a reservoir to a master cylinder, comprising: a housing at which a bore is formed and having one side at which an inlet hole communicating with the master cylinder is formed; a plunger provided to be movable along the bore of the housing; a seat member configured to close one side of the bore and through which an outlet hole communicating with the reservoir passes; and an elastic member having one side supported by the plunger and the other side supported by the seat member, wherein the check valve is provided at the reservoir flow path and enables fluid to flow in a direction from the reservoir to the master cylinder, and the plunger is provided to block the outlet hole when a hydraulic pressure flowing in through the inlet hole is greater than an elastic force of the elastic member.

Inspection valve

An electric brake system is disclosed. The electric brake system includes a master cylinder configured to discharge oil according to a pedal effort of a brake pedal, a simulation device provided with a simulator valve provided at a flow path connecting a simulation chamber, which is connected to the master cylinder to accommodate oil therein, to a first reservoir for storing oil therein so as to provide a reaction force according to the pedal effort of the brake pedal, and an inspection valve provided at a flow path connecting the first reservoir to the master cylinder or at a flow path connecting the master cylinder to the simulation device.
