An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises: a communication circuit; at least one processor electrically connected to the communication circuit; and a memory electrically connected to the processor, wherein the memory can store instructions causing, when executed, the processor to: receive, through the communication circuit, first information indicating the state of the first electronic device from a first electronic device after initiating booting of the first electronic device and before completion of the booting; and control an output device functionally connected to the processor such that state information of the first electronic device is outputted on the basis of the first information. Electronic device and operating method thereof

A method of an electronic device for a connection management is provided. The method comprises: establishing a communication link with an access point (AP); receiving a triggering indication based on link information measured by the electronic device; determining a quality of the communication link between the electronic device and the AP based on the received triggering indication; comparing, based on the determined quality of the communication link, at least two Q values fetched from a Q table that is determined according to context in which in the electronic device is being used; setting a quantized aggressive index (QAI) value based on the compared at least two Q values; and generating a disconnection command based on the QAI value, wherein the disconnection command is a physical disconnection command or a virtual disconnection command of the communication link between the electronic device and the AP.

Method and apparatus for intelligent WiFi connection management

The purpose of the present invention is to control a service set in a wireless communication system. The wireless communication system comprises: a first access point (AP) comprising a first wireless fidelity (WiFi) communication circuit for providing a first basic service set (BSS); and a second AP comprising a second WiFi communication circuit for providing a second BSS. The first WiFi communication circuit wirelessly receives, from a first mobile station, a first connection request including information on a wireless LAN standard of the first mobile station, wirelessly provides a second mobile station with at least a part of the information, wirelessly receives, from the second mobile station, an approval of a connection of the first mobile station thereto, and after receiving the approval, disconnects a first wireless connection from the first mobile station. The second WiFi communication circuit wirelessly receives an approval from the second mobile station, wirelessly receives a second connection request from the first mobile station, establishes a second wireless connection with the first mobile station on the basis of the approval, and exchanges data with the first mobile station through the second wireless connection. Other embodiments are also possible.
